I've come to the last of my posts for the July 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook. Yay, I've finished my first SMASH book!!

Look at the book! My husband laughs every time he sees it. Thats the problem when you use lots of embellishments - but I wouldn't change a thing!!

Home, Fabric and Funny Faces!

Yes, you guessed, more SMASH* pages from the July 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook.

 

First is a double SMASH* page done in my mini - Day 16 Where You Live. We are very lucky to be living on a lovely farm with lots of animals and a big vegie garden and orchard! Got to be happy with that!

 

 

 

Next is Day 22 Fabric (LHS) and Day 28 Funny Faces (RHS). Funny faces seem to be a theme in most photos with the girls - so I have to join in of course, lol!

Stamps, Banners and Pink!

Here are some more SMASH* pages to show you (from the July 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook).

First is a double SMASH* page done in my mini - the LHS is Day 17 Stamps, and RHS is Day 15 Banners. I have a rather large stamp collection (hides face in shame). The stamps I use for SMASH*ing are very different to the ones I use for cardmaking and I prefer clear stamps for this purpose too. These ones are so fun dont you think?

 

Next is Day 18 Favourite Colour. I've chosen Pink - definitely a crafting favourite!

SMASH*ing Favourites!

I've got some more pages to show you from the July 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook.

First is a double SMASH* page done in my mini - Day 6 Food. We love desserts in our family. I dont tend to cook/eat them at home but we love to enjoy them when we eat out. I've even included some clippings from magazines on these pages - I havent done this before but was perfect for these pages!! Makes me feel hungry just looking at it.

 

 

Next is another double SMASH* page (all in my mini) - Day 14 Favourite Someone/s. I couldn't just pick one person for this challenge could I! I've also included a Top 10 of things we love to do - note that number 1 is "Go out for Tea" which ties in with the food/desserts above!!

SMASH*ing Catch Up!

Eek! Its been too long since my last post. Sorry guys (slaps hand). I'm still trying to catch up after a bad flu/cold and now it is school holidays. Although holidays mean a more relaxed schedule the girls like me to be at their constant beck and call!

I've got a heap of SMASH* pages to show you - I'll spread out over a number of posts over the coming days. They are all from the July 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook.

First is a double SMASH* page done in my mini - the LHS is day 10 Wings, and RHS is Day 8 Handmade embellishment (I made a fabric yo-yo). I've used mostly Dear Lizzy products on these pages.

 

 

Next is another double SMASH* page (also in my mini) - Day 12  Favourite Holiday. Now all holidays are my favourite so this was of our holiday at the time in city Adelaide. I've used mainly Amy Tangerine and Angie Delarie products on these pages.

SMASH*ing My Top 5 Books!

The latest digi release from the amazingly talented Angie Delarie is called "de Gartrell Vikings". The viking girl reminded me of Katniss from Hunger Games - so went perfectly on this SMASH* page of my favourite books. I coloured this digi using photoshop (I love the bright colours it gives), then I printed it out on photo paper.

This is a double SMASH* page done in my mini for the 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook - it is day 24 Favourite Book, and Day 26 Top 5 of your choice (I chose books).

I've used a heap of my favourite products here including Amy Tangerine paperclip, stickers and a stamp, Studio Calico wood veneer, some Typo tags and stickies, October Afternoon papers and alphas, KaiserCraft alphas, SMASH* washi, brad and clip, Martha Stewart paper doilies, Smiggle stamp, Freckles and Pigtails chevron bag, and ribbon from my stash.

Polka Dots, Favourite Movie and Blog Hop Winner!

The first page is Day 11 Polka Dots. This photo was taken after I'd been clothes shopping. I dont do this very often but I had the opportunity to go to a "Flower" shop in Adelaide and I just love the clothes there!!

The second page is Day 13 Favourite Movie. Yes, I'm a Twilight fan. I've loved them from the start, but it has been too long waiting for the release of the last movie - I'm nearly over it actually. The first movie was my favourite!

I've used a heap of fun products here including some Martha Stewart paper doilies, some Tim Holtz tickets and film, Studio Calico wood veneer and flat backed button, a Freckles and Pigtails flat backed button, Stampin' Up! lace trim and button, SMASH* ploka dot washi and label maker, Simple Stories bingo card, Glitz giant rhinestone and alpha ribbon from my stash.

I Love My Camera!

The latest digi release from the amazingly talented Angie Delarie is called "Creatures One". These digis and embellishments are just perfect for SMASH*ing, Scrapping and cardmaking. I coloured this digi using photoshop (I love the bright colours it gives), then I printed it out on photo paper.

This is a SMASH* page done in my mini for the 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook - it is day 21 Favourite Item. Can you tell what my favourite item is?? Yes, I'ts my camera!!! Or should I say Cameras!. This was a hard call as my mobile phone and my computer are also favourite things for me (and my craft stuff .... the list goes on!).

SMASH* Blog Hippety Hop!

Woo Hoo, Who's ready for a SMASH* Blog HOP! Me, Me, Me. I just love all the amazing inspiration I get from the other designers and it is such a privelage to be part of the Hop!!

If you have come from Kellie then you are on the right track. If not, you might like to go back to the start with Kellie.

The theme for this SMASH* hop is "Seasons". To tell the truth this had me stumped! I had no idea what to do. During July I was working on the 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook. My aim was for this to be all about "July 2012" for me and to also finish by the end of July. Well I finished on 5th August - got to be happy with that. Now, July is winter here in Australia so it was special to be able to record a few favourite winter moments for this SMASH* Blog Hop and for the 30 day challenge.

This SMASH* page is done in my mini. I'm calling it "Winter Memories". The photos on the left page show hail on the ground. A typical winters day here has a max temperature or approx 10degC, and the night temp is approx 2degC. We don't get snow here but plenty of rain and occasional hail. It was so cold that day that the hail stayed on the ground for many hours! The photo on the right is of our lovely fireplace. We keep it running 24/7 during the winter and it heats our house. These pages are also for "day 27 Favourite Moment" of the 30 day SMASH* challenge on Facebook.

I've used some Tim Holtz tickets and film, October Afternoon alphas, Typo ribbon and tags, Angie Delarie camera, strawberry and cotton reel embellishments, KaiserCraft bingo cards, and flat backed buttons, doilies, fabric yo-yos, washi and ribbon from my stash!

This is a fun little collection of some my favourite embellishments that I love to SMASH* with. I  made the fabric yo-yo's myself and there is a postcard from my local area.
