Artsy Arabia Christmas Cards - With Scrapping Clearly!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a set of 3 Christmas cards that I created using the Art-By-Marlene Artsy Arabia collection available at Scrapping Clearly

I started by creating card bases using heavy weight white cardstock (10.5cm x 14.8cm). I cut the Artsy Arabia SCRAPBM01 paper to size 10cm x 14.3cm as a mat for the card base. I also cut more white down to 9cm x 13.3 cm to use as a background for my cards.

I added paint to the backgrounds using Art-By-Marlene Bold and Bright watercolor paints - to give a watercolour wash effect.

I selected a number of the lantern elements from from the Artsy Arabia Die-Cut book - I thought these looked like Christmas ornaments.

Here is the first of my completed cards - I love the fun and quirky vibe with the Artsy Arabia collection.

The other 2 cards are created in a similar manner - just add a stamped Christmas sentiment to finish.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas Cards - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have some Christmas cards to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty! I have also used non-christmasy supplies to create the cards. I'm always looking for different ways to use my supplies to extend their use and I'm really happy with how these turned out.

For this first set of 5 cards I've used stencils and metal dies from the Find Paradise Collection. You can also see a video of how I created this set of cards here.

For each of the cards I created a background on heavy duty 350gsm white cardstock. I also used the same cardstock to create the card base. I used Kraft cardstock as a mat.

For the first card I used the Foliage A4 stencil and Bling Colour Paste to create a "tree-like" image. I just applied the paste through the berry part of the stencil to achieve this. I then added a sentiment using a word stamp, versamark ink and Bling Colour Embossing Powder.

For the next card I used the Foliage A4 stencil and Bling Colour Paste to create a different "tree-like" image. I just applied the paste through leaf part of the stencil to achieve this. I then added a sentiment using a word stamp, versamark ink and Bling Colour Embossing Powder.

For the next 3 cards I used the the Leaves of Paradise metal die set with Kraft cardstock to create 3 "tree-like" images to add to the card fronts. I then added a sentiment using a word stamp, versamark ink and Bling Colour Embossing Powder. I then added pearls to embellish the trees. Lastly I used a clear Shimmer Pen to make the trees sparkle.

For this next card I used the Kind Heart stamp to provide the focal point for the card. This mandalla looked so Christmasy to me.

I started by stamping the Kind Heart stamp with versamark then using the Taupe embossing powder from the Elegant Rose embossing powder bundle. I then added an embossed sentiment, gold thread and some rhinestones for sparkle.

Sweet Memories - With Scrapping Clearly!

  Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I started by creating my background on heavy weight white cardstock. Firstly I added gesso to the page then I painted DWM acrylic paint across the page (apricot, aloe and mineral - chosen to coordinate with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream collection).

Next I added some stencilling using the Dylusions old School small alpha stencil and Marine DWM acrylic paint, and the DWM Wallpaper stencil and Carnation DWM acrylic paint.

Lastly I added sprays and splatters of DWM gloss spray (marine, apricot, aloe, carnation, mineral).

I hand cut a heap of embellishments from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream collection 6x8 paper pack.

 Here is my finished page.

I matted my photo on papers from the CVS Daydream paper pack. I then embellished with the hand cut shapes, word stickers, wood veneer and paper flowers. I also added a heap of Mambi Sticks chipboard words. Lastly I used a Fude ball pen to draw around the edges of the page.

Love More Fear Less - With Scrapping Clearly!

   Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm playing along with the November moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until November 30 and you need to upload your challenge here.

As soon as I saw the colours in this challenge I knew I wanted to use papers from the Art-By-Marlene Artsy Arabia collection.  I started by creating my background on heavy weight white cardstock. I cut the Artsy Arabia SCRAPBM04 paper and arranged it like this.

I added paint to the background using Art-By-Marlene Bold and Bright watercolor paints.

Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo I placed a white paper doily to help soften the bright coloured background. I embellished with lots of elements from the Artsy Arabia Die-Cut book. I just love these books! I need them all :)

I also added some Art-By Marlene word stickers and wooden chevrons.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

RDKULUS - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty in particular the  new King Of The Cave Collection designed by the talented Tanya Froud.

For those of you that are kit subscribers, this page coordinated with one of the pages I created for the kit and you could use it to create a double page layout.

I created a background on heavy duty 350gsm white cardstock.  I started by doing some stencilling using the Gridlock Stencil and Soot Colour Artist Ink (using a sponge, and apply sparingly). Next I did more stencilling using the Dice Stencil and a mix of Sunflower and Midnight Colour Shimmer Dust mixed with Heavy Gloss Gel. By mixing Sunflower shimmer dust with a small amount of Midnight shimmer dust I get a colour that coordinates with the papers in the King Of The Cave Collection.

Once this has dried I add splatters of Soot Colour Artist Ink, and a mixture of Sunflower and Midnight Colour Shimmer Dust mixed with water (I used my pan palettes created using the shimmer dusts).

Here is my finished background

I created some leaf embellishments by stamping the leaves from the Luck stamp onto Deal paper from the King Of The Cave Collection. Then fussy cut.

 Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo I've added some corrugated card and acetate (from the kit). Ive also layered 2 "King" cards created using the King metal Die and Deal paper. I've added some wheel diecuts created using the Wheelz metal Die and White cardstock. The white Crown is created using the King metal Die and White cardstock.

I've added words cut from the Cave Rules paper, and King cards cut from the Cover Bonus Sheet paper (which is only available in the collection pack). I've also added a word strip cut from the Cave Rules paper and added this across the bottom of the page.

Ive added a cluster along the LHS of the page - this word/Title is cut from the Cover Bonus Sheet paper.
