Girls Night In cyberstamp challenge # 3

The third cyberstamp challenge for Jayne Mercer's "Girls Night In" fundraiser is a CASE challenge - to CASE any card in the current Stampin' Up! IB&C. I've use the card at the top of page 97 with the butterfly on it for my inspiration. I just love embossing with my Sizzix Big Shot - it really adds a fantastic effect.
Stamps : Share a Cup (Stampin' Up!)
Cardstock and Paper :  Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Whisper White (Stampin' Up!).
Inks:   Soft Suede (Stampin' Up!)
Other :  scallop circle punch, scallop border punch, 1 3/4 " circle punch, ribbon, crystal effects, perfect polkadots embossing folder (Stampin' Up!).

Girls Night In cyberstamp challenge # 2

The second cyberstamp challenge for Jayne Mercer's "Girls Night In" fundraiser is a sketch challenge - It is based on a card on page 56 of the current Stampin' Up! IB&C. Here is my entry. I've flipped things around a bit but are happy with my "pink" result! I've used some effective ribbon scrunch and pleat techniques as well as paper piecing.
Stamps : Tote-ally Tess (Stampin' Up!)
Cardstock and Paper :  Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Confetti white, Raspberry Tart DSP (Stampin' Up!).
Inks:   Chocolate Chip, Staz-on (Stampin' Up!)
Other :  scallop oval punch, large oval punch, ribbon (Stampin' Up!).

Girls Night In cyberstamp challenge # 1

Jayne Mercer is holding a series of cyberstamp challenges as part of her "Girls Night In" fundraiser in support of Breast Cancer. The first challenge is a colour challenge - Pink of course. Here is my entry. I've handmade a heap of roses using my scallop circle (I cant remember where I saw how to do this - it was some time back) and formed them into a boquet - quite effective I think!

Stamps : Teeny Tiny Sentiments (Stampin' Up!)
Cardstock and Paper : Kiwi kiss, Pink Pirouette, Pixi Pink, Confetti white (Stampin' Up!).
Inks:   Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up!)
Other : scallop circle punch, scallop oval punch, oval punch, ribbon, twine (Stampin' Up!), button (stash).

Extreme Grunge!

Well, here I am with the first of my creative posts!
This is a card made for the October Bizzy Becs Customer Challenge  which has a theme of "Grunge".
Stamps : Extreme Surfboard, Extreme elements, Sincere Salutations (Stampin' Up!)
Cardstock and Paper : Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and and Very Vanilla (Stampin' Up!).
Inks:   Soft Suede, Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, Black, Versamark (Stampin' Up!)
Other : Black embossing powder (Stampin' Up!).

I just love these "Extreme" stamp sets. It is great for men/boys cards but also works for girls. Here I replaced the Navy ink with Melon Mambo ink and also used the Extreme Guitar stamp.

Welcome

Wowee, I've just taken the plunge and decided to try and set up my own blog! This is a work in progress so please bear with me while I work out how to get things to work and customise things. I've previously only had a flickr acct to display my creations. I'll be back shortly with a creative entry.
