Fun In My Travellers Notebook - With Scrapping Clearly!

Today I have some Travellers notebook fun made using the gorgeous Websters Pages Color Crush Travellers Notebook Inserts  and Fancy Pants Designs "Joy Parade" collection available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store.

I've always loved SMASH books and mini albums and I really love the smaller size of TN compared to a traditional 12x12 scrapbook page. So I decided to make a TN filled with positive and fun quotes (and probably no photos). So I started this one with lots of goodies from the Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection.
This is a great way to use up your stash and make a fun and uplifting notebook at the same time!
I intend to highlight one quote per opening.
I've added some stamps but find that clear acrylic stamps work best with Archival ink pads (pigment inks) rather than Distress inkpads (dye inks).
The Joy Parade collection makes me smile!
Scrapping Clearly products I've used include

Websters Pages Color Crush Travellers Notebook Inserts
Fancy Pants Designs "Joy Parade" collection (12x12 papers, 6x6 paper pad, brag cards, epherema, puffy stickers)
Ranger Archival ink pad, black
Fancy Pants Designs Golden Days stamps
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads

Cards - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing some cards made using Lindy's Magicals and some gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard.
Both card bases are white 6"x6" and I've cut some heavyweight Canson white cardstock 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" that I use to create my painted background. I've used Lindy's Gang Magicals to create my background this time. I haven't used these much before but of course i have a jar or 10 in my stash lol so I thought I would use them on these cards. The colours I've used are "My mojito green", "whale watch blue" and "screamin banshee black". Don't you just love these names!!

For the first card I started by adhering some old dictionary paper and chipboard to the card base using soft gloss gel. I cut out the word Father from the dictionary so I can use it for a fathers day card. Then I sprinkled some of the green Magicals across my page with a paint brush, then activated with a water spray bottle.
After drying this off I repeated the process with the blue then the black magicals. At times I used a paintbrush to make sure all the chipboard was covered. I always dry off between layers/colours and if in doubt add more water and colour :)
I also added some white paper flowers that I then painted with the Magicals. I love the variety of colour pigments in the Magicals - doesnt this look amazing!!
This next card is a baptism card for my gorgeous nephew Bryce. I created the background in a similar way as for the first card.
As this was a baptism card I used the word 'baptize' from the dictionary.
I also added the name Bryce to the card to personalise it.

16th Birthday Card - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing a Card I made for Rachael's 16th birthday this week. I've used lots of bright Dina Wakley paints and some gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard.
My card base is black 6"x6" and I've cut some heavyweight Canson white cardstock 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" that I use to create my painted background. I've used Dina Wakley paints (Tangerine, turquoise, lime, sky, blackberry violet, magenta) to paint the background. I like to use a silicone brush for my painting - I love the effect and it is so much easier to clean between colours!!
I then used 2 KaiserCraft mini designer templates (dots and dashes, and bubbly) and black marble and calypso teal Dylusions paint to add another layer of painty interest.
Once this was all dry I added some Bo Bunny gold glitter paste in places, and I used my white Posca paint pen to draw some dash patterns and then to add some splatters (yes, you can use your paint pen to do this!!!).
I used a black and white paint pen to colour the chipboard, and a Fude ball pen to draw a boarder around the edge. You can see in the photo above I initially painted the chipboard word Happy with a black paint pen - but then changed my mind and covered it with the white paint pen - how good is that coverage!
Imaginarium Designs chipboard I've used includes

Nats hearts : code IDD0043

16th small : code IDN0054
You make me happy: Code IDW0097

July Planning - With Scrapping Clearly!

Today I have more "July Planning" to share with you, made using the fabulous MAMBI Happy Planner, Classic, The Best is Yet to Come and Fancy Pants Designs "Joy Parade" collection available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store.

I start by collecting the supplies I intend to use (best to limit what you have on your desk to reduce decision making time lol). I organise and resize my photos in MS Word then print out on an A4 sheet of paper using an EPSON XP-600 and Ilford photo paper. Each photo used on the weekly spread is 3.7cm wide x 6cm tall, and in the monthly spread 3.7cm wide x 3.2cm tall.
I've recently purchased a planner punch (I must say I love it!!) so I decided to use it to make some inserts for my planner. I'v used the Fancy Pants Joy Parade "Brag cards" as inserts, they are like PL cards and perfect to embellish and add to your planner.
I decided to add a card for each week. They do however make your planner more bulky so I might need to consider some expander rings now.
Here is the updated 2 page calendar for the month. Its great to see a collage of photos from the month.
Here is my completed weekly spread for 3-9 July. I've also included some movie tickets as well as other items from the Joy Parade collection (6x6 paper pad, Brag cards, Ephemera and puffy stickers.
A close up of the brag card inserted into my planner.
Here is my completed weekly spread for 10-16 July. I really love this form of memory keeping and will do it in place of Project Life for a while.
Another close-up - love my 2 gorgeous girls :)
Here is my completed weekly spread for 17-23 July.
