Artsy Arabia Christmas Cards - With Scrapping Clearly!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a set of 3 Christmas cards that I created using the Art-By-Marlene Artsy Arabia collection available at Scrapping Clearly

I started by creating card bases using heavy weight white cardstock (10.5cm x 14.8cm). I cut the Artsy Arabia SCRAPBM01 paper to size 10cm x 14.3cm as a mat for the card base. I also cut more white down to 9cm x 13.3 cm to use as a background for my cards.

I added paint to the backgrounds using Art-By-Marlene Bold and Bright watercolor paints - to give a watercolour wash effect.

I selected a number of the lantern elements from from the Artsy Arabia Die-Cut book - I thought these looked like Christmas ornaments.

Here is the first of my completed cards - I love the fun and quirky vibe with the Artsy Arabia collection.

The other 2 cards are created in a similar manner - just add a stamped Christmas sentiment to finish.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love More Fear Less - With Scrapping Clearly!

   Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm playing along with the November moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until November 30 and you need to upload your challenge here.

As soon as I saw the colours in this challenge I knew I wanted to use papers from the Art-By-Marlene Artsy Arabia collection.  I started by creating my background on heavy weight white cardstock. I cut the Artsy Arabia SCRAPBM04 paper and arranged it like this.

I added paint to the background using Art-By-Marlene Bold and Bright watercolor paints.

Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo I placed a white paper doily to help soften the bright coloured background. I embellished with lots of elements from the Artsy Arabia Die-Cut book. I just love these books! I need them all :)

I also added some Art-By Marlene word stickers and wooden chevrons.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tag Journal Part 2 - With Scrapping Clearly!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have part 2 of my tag journal that I created using the Art-By-Marlene Tag Journal Kit and other new Art-By-Marlene products available at Scrapping Clearly

In my last post I provided details on how I constructed the journal and decorated the cover and the first inside pages. This post covers the remaining 4 openings in the journal.

For these pages I have used my Art-By-Marlene Bold and Bright watercolour pan paints to create the background. I've used mainly teal colours with highlights of green. I've also coloured some muslin and painted some DWM Scribbly Fishes stamped images in the same colour.

Next I added some stenciling using an Art-By-Marlene stencil and teal ink.

Here is my finished pages. I've also added some stamping using Art-By-Marlene Exclusive textures stamp set , Art-By-Marlene word stickers and outlining using a Fude ball pen

For the next "Blue" pages I have used my Art-By-Marlene Bold and Bright watercolour pan paints to create the background. This time I first did a light waterwash with blue all over the pages. When it had dried I added some painting with plastic and splatters to intensify the colour in some places.

I've also painted some DWM Scribbly Fishes stamped images in the same colour and added to the page.

I've used a similar process to create the purple pages.

Here is my finished pages.

 And lastly my yellow pages!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
