Oh The Places You'll Go!

I never seem to have enough boys cards. Is it the same for you? Or I have some but for the wrong age group. Well I had to made one the other day so I thought why not make another! I used the same colour scheme and sketch but changed the image and added some great die cut sprockets. I'm really happy with it. I also remembered to add some brads. I have heaps of these but forget to put them on my projects till the last minute and then I've stuck down the cardstock and cant add them (I dont like to leave the back of the brad visible at all). Anyways, what do you think!

Birthday Boy!!

It feels like ages since my last post and since I made a card - life can be too hectic at times! My eldest daughter had her 10th birthday and we had a big party with all her friends (about 30 of them - what was I thinking). Well it all went well and they all had fun, we played heaps of games and had a disco.
It is a friends sons birthday next week and I wanted to make a card for that so I thought I'd join a few challenges along the way.

Lets Get Sketchy!

Woo Hoo ... There's a new sketch challenge blog on the block!! Pink {INK} Sketch Challenges. Of course I had to join in in their first challenge (here). I love sketch challenges - great way to get motivated and inspired. I'm also joining in the Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge # 27 - doilies. I've tried a different colour combo than I usually do - very fresh tones compared to the vintage look that I love. I'm quite happy with the result and love the look of the yellow flowers ( I rarely use yellow). I'm still getting used to my copics (the 6 I have anyway hehehe). I've made this for a friend whose birthday is next week - the image reminds me of her! This is also a submission for the Tickled Pink Stamps DT Call.
