Documenting Christmas, Dec 26-31 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you the last pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album (for December 26-31) and these are also the last pages of my PL 2015 album!

I've used the Nov/Dec Pocket Life kit "Jessica" from Scrappy Canary.

This first layout is for December 26-29.
Here is a close up of the LHS. It was a nice change to go back to non-Christmas papers/embellies and I love the natural look of many of the papers and elements in this kit.
On the days after Christmas we enjoyed a few movies, reading and trying out our Christmas presents!
Here is a close up of the RHS. Jessica got a "Cats cradle" hand/string  set for Christmas which has been fun to try out (a toy/activity from the "Olden days"). She also enjoyed a day at a local water slide - complete with coffee, icecream and fish n chips!
Here is a close up of the last page of my album. There are lots of photos of my parents 50th wedding anniversary. My mom had kept her wedding and bridesmaids dresses, so my sister Gayle, my niece Ella, and Rachael wore them on the day - very special!
All of my photos have been printed on an Epson XP-600

Happy Days - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share using lots of gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard

I've used some photos of when we went on our first family bike ride on the local bike track - John didn't have a bike so he used a scooter lol!
I've also used the November/December scrapbook kit "Leila" from Scrappy Canary for this page. I love the bright fun colours and designs of the papers in this kit - especially the triangles
I've used Glimmer Glaze on all the chippies on this page. I had 5 different colours that I bought some time ago and never used, but are perfect for colouring chipboard. I've also just ordered another 4 colours!
Around the photos I've added some Maggie Holmes ephemera from the SC and at the bottom of the page I've added this mini stamp "follow your heart" from a Dear Lizzie roller stamp.
Imaginarium Designs chipboard I've used includes
Happy Days : Code IDP0069
Loolabelles love arrows : Code IDD0030
Sheet of 7 leaves : Code IDFL0018

Documenting Christmas, Dec 24-25 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you more pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album (for December 24-25) made using the Document December kit from Scrappy Canary.

This first layout is for December 24-25.
Here is a close up of the LHS - Christmas Eve! Jessica enjoyed spending the day playing with our elves. Normally you must not touch the elves else they will loose their magic, but on Christmas Eve they go home with Santa who will give them more magic.
Jessica left this message for Santa - she wanted his "orter graff" (aka autograph).
Here is a close up of the RHS. These photos are from Christmas day - opening presents!
Christmas is finally here!!
This next layout is for December 25 - I had lots of photos to include.
Here is a close up of the LHS - lots of family selfies, and some of the jokes and novelties from the Christmas crackers.
Here is a close up of the RHS. The day was very hot approx 35degC so we had water fights and slip and slide fun!
All of my photos have been printed on an Epson XP-600

Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share using lots of gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard

I've used this photo of Jessica showing me her new front teeth, with a fun title of "Bright eyed and bushy tailed" to go with the cheekiness of both Jessica and the photo!
As well as lots of fun chipboard I've used the November/December scrapbook kit "Leila" from Scrappy Canary for this page. Using a kit is a perfect way to limit the craft supplies available for a page and I find that it then speeds up the crafting process :)
I've used some Glimmer Glaze on these heart chippies. I love that glimmer glaze has an inbuilt brush in the lid (just like nail polish) so it makes using it less messy and quick - although it does take a while to dry. What I often do though is to stick the chipboard on my page raw and finish the page, then add the glaze.

I've also added some glaze to the baskets on the balloons and one of the "balloon" parts, for the other 2 balloons I've stuck patterned paper over the top and sanded around the edges.
This phrase was perfect as a title - I sprayed it with some blue ColorShine.
Around the photo I added some Maggie Holmes ephemera from the SC kit.
"Hello beautiful" is from the Dear Lizzie roller stamp - I love these stamps!!

Imaginarium Designs chipboard I've used includes
Hot Air Balloons : Code IDT0010

Nats hearts : code IDD0043
Bright eyed and bushy tailed : code IDP0164

Documenting Christmas, Dec 16-23 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you more pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album (for December 16-23) made using the Document December kit from Scrappy Canary.

This first layout is for December 16-19.
Here is a close up of the LHS. The photos on this page included some haircut selfies, Elf antics, fin with the Wii and nail polish time!!
My favourite cards are white - I love the simplicity. These die cut words are some of my favs too :)
Here is a close up of the RHS. Jessica loved visiting Santa - she was even brave enough to give him a hug! She asked him for a purple tennis racket with kitties on the frame.
The next layout is for December 20-23.
Here is a close up of the LHS. This was a busy weekend with my family Christmas party and the childrens Christmas church service.
I love adding the fun diecuts to my cards!
Here is a close up of the RHS. We baked our own gingerbread and made gingerbread houses and star trees - the gingerbread was so yummy!!
All of my photos have been printed on an Epson XP-600

You Inspire Me - With Imaginarium Designs!

WooHoo, I have exciting news!! I'm on the Imaginarium Designs Creative Team for 2016! It is such a pleasure to be creating for this amazing Australian Company and I'm looking forward to a fabulous crafty year ahead!!
Today on the ID blog I have a scrapbook page to share. It is titled "You Inspire Me" and includes a photo of my mum and I.
I've chosen some of my favourite colours for this page - blue/teal and brown, and they coordinate perfectly with the colours in the photo!

I started by watercolouring my background. I love to use my childrens watercolour pan paints for this. I also used the same watercolour paints on the chipboard with an ombre effect - see the darker brown to light brown on these "branch and leaves" chippies.
I love the words and phrases available at Imaginarium Designs - they are perfect for titles. If you are anything like me you will find it hard to come up with ideas for titles so to have them ready made saves me time!
These stem and leaves chippies are a new fav for me - I love the delicate yet modern look of them, here I've used them to frame my photo.
I love using doilies on my pages - they add a subtle touch without being too obtrusive.
I've added a strip of washi tape along the bottom of this page and some handwritten journalling.
Imaginarium Designs chipboard used includes
Branch and leaves : Code IDDN0013

Nat's hand drawn stemmed leaves : Code IDD0045
You Inspire Me : Code IDP0077
