Christmas Elves - with Paper House Productions!

This week is ColorWays week over at Paper House Productions so today I'd like to share with you a scrapbook page I made using lots of goodies from the PHP  ColorWays Gatsby collection. I love the glitz and sparkle from this collection - just perfect for Christmas projects!

This photo was taken on Christmas eve last year with our 2 Elves :)
I started my page by using a star stencil and some gold paste. Once this had properly dried (overnight is best) I backed this with a sheet of paper from the Gatsby paper pack.
In this top corner I added a punched paper piece (also from the Gatsby paper pack) a circle accent from the Gatsby accent pack and puffy stickers from the merry and bright sculpted sticker pack, as well as some gold alphas (from my stash) for the title
Under the photo I layered some paper from the Gatsby paper pack and elements from the Gatsby accent pack. I love the "glitter sparkle shine" element!! The wire, flowers and reindeer angel are from my stash.
I also added some white star puffy stickers from the merry and bright sculpted sticker - I love this shape!

Then I finished it off with some handwritten journalling about our elves!
I've loved using these new ColorWays Gatsby products, perfect for Christmas

Project Life Week 47 - With Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you Week 47 for my "Schultz Family 2015" Project Life Album. This week is only Mon-Fri because I started "Documenting Christmas" on the Saturday. I've also only used 1 page as the other side was used for the title page for Christmas.

This week I've used the Nov/Dec Pocket Life kit Jessica from Scrappy Canary. The photos are of my Jessica's end of year gymnastics display, and a visit to the local Cherry Shed Cafe - cherries ... yumm!
Here is a close up of the LHS. The gold patterned card was in the kit and I've added some gold accent stickers.
There are some gold foiled acetate cards in the kit and I've overlayed one on some of the patterned paper - and attached using tiny staples.
I printed my journalling direct onto patterned paper then added a strip of paper, a fussy cut journal tab, and a gold accent sticker.
All of my photos have been printed on an Epson XP-600

Project Life Week 46 - With Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you Week 46 for my "Schultz Family 2015" Project Life Album. This was a busy week in the lead up to the end of school year and I had lots of photos!

This week I've used the Nov/Dec Pocket Life kit Jessica from Scrappy Canary.
Here is a close up of the LHS. The papers and embellishments in this kit are a mix of subtle and bold with a splash of gold!
When we went out for dinner we had this amazing (and large) dessert - eating out is all about dessert isn't it!?! I cut these labels from a sheet of the patterned paper, they are perfect for adding journalling to your cards!
I was lucky enough to be able to attend Finnabair's "overemotional" class at Seriously Scrapbooking in Adelaide, so much amazing inspiration from Anna and all the other lovely ladies at the class :)
Here is a close up of the RHS. I've printed my journalling for the week directly onto a piece of the patterned paper, and used some of the fun circle alphas as a title.
The patterned paper has lots of elements that can be fussy cut to add extra detail to your cards - and a paperclip is always a fun addition to a card. The "xoxo" stamp is the roller stamp from the Leila SB kit . I'm a roller stamp junkie and have at least 20 of them!!
The photos here were taken when Rachael had a day home from school with conjunctivitis - she was so bored she dressed up in her life jacket and practiced the piano!!

I've used lots of the Pink Paislee clear accent stickers from the kit on the cards and photos.
All of my photos have been printed on an Epson XP-600

Documenting Christmas, Nov 30 to Dec 3 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you more pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album - For November 30 to December 3.

I've used the Document December kit from Scrappy Canary  for these pages - there is so many fabulous Christmas goodies in this kit!
Here is a close up of the LHS. From 1st December I've used the numerals from the kit. I've also used a combination of the cards, paper pad and die cuts for my filler cards.
Even though Christmas is in the summer time here in Australia it is still fun to add snowflakes as embellishments :)
Here is a close up of the RHS. These photos show the latest elf antics as well as end of year activities for my girls!
I love using the printables that come with the kit and isn't this reindeer paperclip adorable!

Documenting Christmas, Nov 26-29 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you more pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album - For November 26-29.

I've mainly used the Document December kit from Scrappy Canary as well as some other items from my stash.
Here is a close up of the LHS. For these 4 days I've printed the date directly onto some of the patterned cards in the kit - then added some handwritten journalling.
I've done lots of layering on these cards using the patterned paper, die-cuts and labels. I've also used some of the flair I made using the patterned paper.
Here is a close up of the RHS. On this day the elves were hiding in the dolls pram - that meant they could be moved around the house without touching them :)
The acetate cards came with the page protectors and look great backed with some patterned paper.

You Are Loved - with Paper House Productions!

Today I'd like to share with you a scrapbook page I made using lots of goodies from the Paper House Productions ColorWays Orchid collection.

Although purple is my favourite colour I don't normally use it on my scrapbook pages. But these colours were perfect for this photo of Jessica with all of her Beanie Kids.

I cut this background out some time ago using my Cameo and hadn't yet used it, I thought it would work well for this photo. I created the background using purple, teal and pink ColorShine sprays - just applied randomly across a gesso'd sheet of white cardstock. Then I layered both sheets over a piece of  Orchid Dark Bokeh paper
I cut my photo to size and layered under a frame from the Orchid accent pack then I layered other accents (also from the same pack) around the photo. I wound some silver coloured wire in circles and added on/around the photo and added a silver embellishment from my stash.
These accents from the Orchid accent pack are perfect for a title, and lastly I added some rhinestones randomly to the butterfly cutouts.

I've loved using the new ColorWays Orchid collection, these colours are more versatile than I originally thought :)

Documenting Christmas, Nov 22-25 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you more pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album - For November 22-25.

I'm aiming to have 2 days to a page and handwritten journalling for each day. I've mainly used the Document December kit from Scrappy Canary as well as some other items from my stash.
Here is a close up of the LHS. Sunday 22nd November was the day after we put up our Christmas tree and our Elves had arrived, yay!!! Jessica was so excited - so were we all :)
These sparkly thickers are awesome!!
Here is a close up of the RHS. Lots more Elf on the Shelf photos and I've used lots more goodies, including stamps, on this page :)
Our school had a bike-a-thon which was just fantastic, and now all our bikes are fixed and working and we can load them easily onto our car!

Documenting Christmas, Nov 21 - with Scrappy Canary!

Today I'm showing you the first pages of my "Schultz Christmas 2015" Documenting December Album. Our tradition is to put up our Christmas tree on the day of the Adelaide Christmas pageant, or soon after. This happens in November, so this year my Christmas album starts on November 21st.

So much happened on this day that I used 2 pages in my album. I've mainly used the Document December kit from Scrappy Canary as well as some other items from my stash.
Here is a close up of the LHS. We met Granny at the Cherry Shed Cafe in the morning then went on a family bike ride. We only have 3 bikes, so John took the scooter!
For the November part of the album I printed the date on some blank cards then added some handwritten journalling and a stamp. I made my own flair using some punchouts from the paper pad in the kit. I also printed out the digital label sheet that came with the kit and cut out the elements. I probably could have looked into the print and cut feature on my Cameo but I havent tried that yet!
Here is a close up of the RHS. In the afternoon we decorated our Christmas tree and took a family Christmas photo.
Some wood veneer and star sequins from the kit were all that were needed for this card - cut from the paper pad in the kit.
