This year I have just loved using gold on my Christmas pages, and gold with white is just stunning! The December Just Add Paper kit at D-lish Scraps is called "All that glitters" and is perfect for your Christmas Scrapbook, SMASH* or Project Life pages.
This page in my Holiday SMASH* book was plain white (very unusual for a SMASH* page actually) so I used strips of the gold washi tape (from the All That Glitters kit) to cover sections of the middle of the page. The photos on the page show when our Elves packed the school lunches - too funny! Tomato sauce, an onion and a lemon were not a hit with Jessica and the tomatoes, salt and baking powder were "not funny" in Rachael's opinion lol
I've layered a a small velum bag, a shipping tag and some twine from the kit underneath the photos. I then added 2 of the doilies and the strip of scalloped gold glitter card (also from the kit). I embellished the smaller pvc doilie with the bow, a flower, and flair from the kit.
I added a Freckled Fawn wood chips speech bubble and birdie, and used my Motex tape writer and yellow tape to add some words to the photos.
I sprinkled some gold star mini sequins (from the kit) across the page then glued them to the page with Crystal Effects and using a Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil to place the sequins. I used some of the gold glitter canvas tape in the kit to create a banner at the top of the page and also on the tag.
The gold numeral Thickers are from American Crafts and I've also used a Pebbles roller date stamp.

Silly Faces!
I usually prefer to only use one photo on each of my SB pages but I often have a sequence - usually one or both of my girls commanding the camera's attention. In these photos I asked for a smile but Jessica wouldn't comply - Rachael tried her hardest to stay focused then she gave up lol!
This is my fourth page using the January '14 half tart kit from Lime Tart and I have used up literally all the papers. I chose a piece of pink patterned paper for the background and layered more of the papers underneath my photos. I used a scallop edge punch on a few of the layers to add some texture and interest.
I added a black sequin arrow as well as some wood veneer moustaches (from the Movember Tart - raising money for Men's health). The alphas for the title are from a previous kit.
From the patterned papers I fussy cut some tags, and other items to add around the photos and for the journalling - there is a great variety to choose from! There is a gorgeous patterned transparency in the kit - I cut out the "love life" section for this page. I've also dotted some of the pearl dots across the page.
I used a stamp from Kellie Stamps "you make me smile" from the Just for you stamp set and the chevrons from the Hello arrows stamp set.
In addition to the Jan'14 Half Tart kit from the Lime Tart store I've used Freckled Fawn wood veneer hearts; and October Afternoon Sidewalks buttons.

Elf Update - December 1!
Have you seen the Just Add Paper kits at D-lish Scraps? I just love them!! Each kit includes a heap of yummy embellishments for you to use on your Scrapbook, SMASH* or Project Life pages. They come out monthly and are only $10 (Australian)! On this Christmas SMASH* page I've used the "All that Glitters" kit which has lots of gorgeous gold embellishments as well as the yummy PVC doilie you can see at the top!
The photos on the page are of our Elf antics - very cheeky aren't they!! I've kept this page reasonably simple showcasing the gorgeous red SMASH* page in the background with the pretty white flourish, as well as the fun kit and my adorable photos of course.
Once I had decided on my photo placement I added a a small velum bag, a shipping tag and some twine from the kit. I then layered 2 of the doilies and the strip of scalloped gold glitter card (also from the kit).
I then embellished with the bow, flowers, flair and gold dots. And I added some strips of gold washi along the top and bottom of the page (yes, all from the kit)!
The gold numeral Thickers are from American Crafts and I intend to use them for each day in the Christmas countdown :)
The red alphas and words are from the Sn@p range and I've also used a Pebbles roller date stamp.

Hanging Out Today!
One of the sheets of patterned paper in the January '14 half tart kit from Lime Tart is full of polaroid frames. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to highlight them in some way for a layout.
I started with a sheet of textured blue cardstock from my stash and thought I would experiment with a few mixed media techniques. After deciding where the photos would go I sprayed the background with a blue Chalkboard mist over a Kaisercraft chevron mask. Once this had dried I used some texture paste over a Studio Calico circles mask and also wiped some in the top right and bottom left corners. I then used a Glitz arrows roller around the edge of the photos and over the wiped texture paste.
I cut out four of the polaroid frames from the paper then attached my photos to three of them. I wanted to highlight the picture on one of the polaroids so I added some of the coloured pearls from the kit. I then attached these polaroids to my page using dimensionals.
I cut out come of the labels from another of the paper sheets and layered them to make a title.
The blue sequin arrow is a highlight of the page! I also cut out and added some other labels and images from the papers, and added a journalling sticker at the bottom right.
In addition to the Jan'14 Half Tart kit from the Lime Tart store I've used Stampin' Up! blue textured cardstock; Studio Calico wood veneer flowers and bird; Freckled Fawn wood veneer hearts; and a Pebbles roller date stamp.

Funny Little Elf!
I love documenting the adventures of our two Elf on the Shelf's in my Holiday SMASH* folio. On these 2 pages/days the Elves went racing on our reindeers and made some paper snowflakes! Jessica just loved getting up each morning and seeing what new activity the Elves were trying out!
I've used a heap of fun D-Lish Scraps goodies on these pages. On the LH page I've added a gold paper doilie, a small velum bag, Freckled Fawn wood chips hearts and arrow, and white star mini sequins. I scatter the mini sequins across the page then dot glue next to them, then I use a Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil to place the sequins on the glue - easy.
I also added some die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; a tag from the Holiday SMASH* kit and used some stamps from Kellie Stamps - "Funny little elf" and "Elf on the ..." from the Elf mini 2013 stamp set.
On the RH page I've used more fun D-Lish Scraps goodies. I've added another gold paper doilie, a shipping tag, a white bitty blooms, a micros feathers (sprayed with red Colorshine), Freckled Fawn dew drops gold arrow and silver arrow paperclip, a Christmas journal spot and red Hand dyed muslin.
I also added die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; and used some stamps from Kellie Stamps - "cute" and "tricky" from the Elf mini 2012 stamp set. I used the SMASH* holiday roller date stamp, and I added some twine and enamel dots from my stash.

Baking - I Made That!
My daughters love cooking! my eldest prefers if we just leave her too it, so she can do it "all by myself". Last year at school they ran a 6 week "elective" class were students could select from a range of activities including cooking, sewing, orienteering and woodwork. I helped take the cooking class and Rachael did cooking - along with a few other girls and lots of hungry boys lol! This photo shows the cupcakes she made and decorated on one of the days.
I left this floral pattern exposed and further embellished it with some of the coloured pearls from the kit.
There were some other flowers and labels in the papers so I fussy cut them and layered them and used them to embellish the title (I used alphas from a previous kit). I had a metal charm from my stash and attached it with some twine also from a previous kit.
I layered some strips of paper underneath my photo along with a tag and a glassine bag from a previous kit. The black sequin arrow from this kit adds a striking touch.
I used some stamps from Kellie Stamps "[I made that]", "Yum", "yup, I baked that", and "[food shot] from the Food Shot stamp set.
In addition to the Jan'14 Half Tart kit from the Lime Tart store I've used Studio Calico wood veneer circle words, star burst and hearts; Studio Calico wood veneer house; and a tag & metal charm from my stash.

I'ts Still Christmas!
I'm still catching up on my Christmas SMASH*ing and scrapbooking - perhaps I will never catch up! These 2 pages are in my Holiday SMASH* folio and include photos from when we set up our Christmas tree.
On the LH page I first sprayed a stencil (TCW script star bits) with green Dylusions ink on the page. I matted a gold paper doilie under the photos then added a green bitty blooms, a micros feathers (sprayed with green Colorshine), Freckled Fawn dew drops gold arrow, and a green crocheted doilie, all from D-Lish Scraps.
I added die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; Studio Calico wood veneer tree and bird; and used some stamps from Kellie Stamps - "oh christmas tree", "christmas time is beaut" and the star image from the Christmas Tradition stamp set. I also added some twine, washi, and alphas from my stash.
Other D-Lish Scraps embellishments I used on the page included a white bitty blooms, red polkadot button, freckled fawn paperclips - silver, red crochet flowers, green sequin string, and green star mini sequins.
I used some stamps from Kellie Stamps - "jingle Bells" and "ho ho ho" from from the Christmas 2012 stamp set. I used the SMASH* holiday roller date stamp, Prima wood veneer tree, and I added some twine, washi, and enamel dots from my stash.

At The Beach!
I just love Christmas!! But I will have to admit that after the rush of the big day and all the related SMASH*ing and scrapping I really enjoy doing some non-Christmas crafting. It is summer time here in Australia so fresh summery paper colours are very refreshing! As I'm typing this post it is new years eve and about 35degC outside. I can hear my youngest daughter squeeling with delight as she plays in the paddle pool outside.
This is the last month of Lime Tart kits as the store will close down and the end of January. I just love this store and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on their design team working with an amazing group of ladies. But we are certainly going out with a bang and the range of January kits is gorgeous!
I've used the January '14 half tart kit from Lime Tart for this layout. I've gone with a circle theme for this beach page. I started with a background of white cardstock that I sprayed with a blue chalkboard mist and used a Prima circles mask.
I used my Big Shot to cut a heap of different sized circles from a selection of the patterned papers in the kit. I clustered a range of the circles and a paper doilie (also sprayed with the blue mist) underneath my photos and added some strips of paper as well. I added another strip of patterned paper across the bottom of the page as well as more circles in the top left and bottom right.
There are some gorgeous label stickers in the kit so I added one at the bottom for some journalling. Some of the patterned papers lend themselves to fussy cutting so I did this for the "and this was the best part" label. I added some alphas from a previous kit for the title and used a gorgeous blue sequin arrow from this kit (there are 3 blue and 3 black in the kit - yummy!). I then dotted lots of blue pearls over some of the smaller misted circles.
In addition to the Jan'14 Half Tart kit from the Lime Tart store I've used Stampin' Up! white cardstock; Studio Calico wood veneer flowers, diamonds and boat; Pebbles roller date stamp; D-lish Scraps Motex tape writer and blue tape; October Afternoon Woodland Park button; APOCD flair; and white paper doilie, from my stash. I also added some polaroid diecuts made using my Cameo.

Welcome to the Kellie Stamps 1 January 2014 Blog Hop!!
This month there are 5 clear stamp sets, 6 wood mount stamps, wooden flair and metal flair being released at Kellie Stamps!! The wood and metal flair are so awesome - they coordinate with some of the stamps and are my favourite embellishments to use on SMASH* and scrapbook pages.
This hop showcases this new range of products - it is full of inspiration and there are prizes to be won ... yay!!! So hop along with us and enjoy the ride!
If you have come from the amazingly talented Jodie then you are right on track. If not you should go to the very start with Kellie.
Today I've got a few SMASH* pages to show you. The first is from my Holiday SMASH* folio where I'm documenting Christmas 2013. To tell the truth I'm way behind in this documentation process and this page is for November when our two Elf on a Shelf's arrived.
I'm a lover of all wood veneer embellishments and I love that these coordinate with the stamp sets!
I've used some papers, kraft bag/tag and wooden moustache's from a Movember Tart kit from Lime Tart - raising money to support mens health!
I've also used Studio Calico boat, arrow and chevron wood veneer; Prima leaf wood veneer; and paper doilies, twine, chevron bag, flair, enamel dots and tag from my stash.
My SMASH* books always get very thick and can be difficult to photograph so I took this photo to show how I lift up one side of my book!
Next on the hop is the talented Sue so hop on over for more fabulous inspiration!
It wouldn't be a blog hop without a giveaway would it!
Kellie is giving away a selection of products from the January 2014 release (see her post for all the details). To be in the running to win this you need to leave a comment on ALL the people/blogs on this hop. You have until midnight 5th January (Australian eastern time).

On these pages I've used a heap of products from Kellie Stamps : the "You are absolutely amazing" wood mount stamp from the new release; two wooden flair (you are amazing and the triangles); as well as "Elf on the shelf 2013", "the elf", and "Cheeky" from the Elf mini 2013 stamp set.
One of the things I love about the wood mount stamps is that they are always ready to go for those phrases or quotes that you use all the time. I'm a lover of all wood veneer embellishments and I love that these coordinate with the stamp sets!
I've also used a heap of die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; Studio Calico tree, star and heart wood veneer; Prima house and Joy wood veneer; APOCD elf flair; SMASH* holiday roller date stamp; and paper doilies, twine, chevron bag, button, enamel dots and tag from my stash.
My next page is from my 365 SMASH* folio that I'm using to document 2013. I do about 6 pages per month. I'm still back at September but I will catch up, I will, I will!!
On these 2 pages I've used more of the new release stamps from Kellie Stamps: "Happy Camper", "having so much fun" and the row of triangles from the Summer 2014 stamp set; "Keen as mustard" and "cool bananas" from the Photo bomb set; "you little rippa" and "you little bewdy" from the Australia day 2014 stamp set.I've used some papers, kraft bag/tag and wooden moustache's from a Movember Tart kit from Lime Tart - raising money to support mens health!
