Year 7 Graduation Dinner!

The March release from Kellie Stamps  is out TODAY!! Yay!! The 2 stamp sets are Magical and Cosy. Today I'm showcasing some of the Magical stamps.

The photos on these pages are of my daughter Rachael getting ready for her year 7 graduation dinner - isnt she gorgeous!! She has grown up way too fast.
These pages in my Holiday SMASH* book were perfect so I continued with the gold theme for all my embellishments.
The flowers, paper doilies, bag and tag are from my stash. I've used stamps from Kellie Stamps - "magical" and "So happy" from the magical stamp set; "Proud Moment" the wood mount stamp; and the "you are amazing" from the January light wood venneer flair pack.

I'm also participating in the Scrapbook Creations February Inspiration board challenge (here) which has a gold challenge!

An Elf Moment!

Yes, I know it seems like Christmas was an eternity ago and I should have finished and blogged these photos in December - but It didnt happen. I'm still showing them now because I really wanted to show off (again) the fun stamps I used by Kellie Stamps, the Elf mini 2013 and the Christmas Tradition stamp set - both are still available in the storeRemember to use the code "KELLIESTAMPS" to get 15% off your Kellie Stamps order when you spend $10 or more.

I've continued keep the pages in this folio (the Holiday SMASH* folio) relatively simple and the basics for most pages were paper doilies, bags and tags (for journalling), die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection & Studio Calico Magical collection, gold numeral Thickers from American Crafts, stamps and wood veneer.

On this page I've used stamps from Kellie Stamps - "Funny little elf", "The Elf", the circle Elf and "Cheeky" from the Elf mini 2013 stamp set.
I've added white & green bitty bloomsgreen and red star mini sequins, Freckled Fawn gold arrow and dew drops, all from D-Lish Scraps. Lastly I've added an APOCD elf flair, a Prima wood veneer Christmas tree, and a brown & green flower from my stash.
On these next pages I've used stamps from Kellie Stamps - "oh christmas tree", "christmas time is beaut", "moment", and "party" from the Christmas Tradition stamp set
I've used another of the gorgeous Elf flairs from APOCD - arent they just gorgeous! They come in both boy and girl elf varieties - I had to have both!!

Christmas SMASH*ing - Still Going!

I was very happy to finish my Christmas SMASH* journal by the end of January! It has taken me a while to get it all photographed and blogged.

These pages show more of the adventures of our elves Elfie and Sparkle. They had a sack race with Jessica's toys (she was not impressed and immediately removed some of her favourites from the race lol), they rode in Barbies carriage, Elfie got all tied up in the toilet paper, they had a tea party and tried on some of Rachael's high heels (dont you just love the colour!).

I tried to keep most of the pages in this folio (the Holiday SMASH* folio) relatively simple and the basics for most of the pages were paper doilies, bags and tags (to hide my journalling), die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection, diecuts from Studio Calico Magical collection, gold numeral Thickers from American Crafts, stamps, enamel dots and wood veneer.
I love adding stamps on my photos and pages, here I've used some from Kellie Stamps - "Funny", "Elf", the circle Elf and "Cheeky" from the Elf mini 2013 stamp set.

All That Glitters!

This year I have just loved using gold on my Christmas pages, and gold with white is just stunning! The December Just Add Paper kit at D-lish Scraps is called "All that glitters" and is perfect for your Christmas Scrapbook, SMASH* or Project Life pages.

This page in my Holiday SMASH* book was plain white (very unusual for a SMASH* page actually) so I used strips of the gold washi tape (from the All That Glitters kit) to cover sections of the middle of the page. The photos on the page show when our Elves packed the school lunches - too funny! Tomato sauce, an onion and a lemon were not a hit with Jessica and the tomatoes, salt and baking powder were "not funny" in Rachael's opinion lol
I've layered a small velum bagshipping tag and some twine from the kit underneath the photos. I then added 2 of the doilies and the strip of scalloped gold glitter card (also from the kit). I embellished the smaller pvc doilie with the bow, a flower, and flair from the kit.
I added a  Freckled Fawn wood chips speech bubble and birdie, and used my Motex tape writer and yellow tape to add some words to the photos.
I sprinkled some gold star mini sequins (from the kit) across the page then glued them to the page with Crystal Effects and using a Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil to place the sequins. I used some of the gold glitter canvas tape in the kit to create a banner at the top of the page and also on the tag.
The gold numeral Thickers are from American Crafts and I've also used a Pebbles roller date stamp.

Elf Update - December 1!

Have you seen the Just Add Paper kits at D-lish Scraps? I just love them!! Each kit includes a heap of yummy embellishments for you to use on your Scrapbook, SMASH* or Project Life pages. They come out monthly and are only $10 (Australian)! On this Christmas SMASH* page I've used the "All that Glitters" kit which has lots of gorgeous gold embellishments as well as the yummy PVC doilie you can see at the top!

The photos on the page are of our Elf antics - very cheeky aren't they!! I've kept this page reasonably simple showcasing the gorgeous red SMASH* page in the background with the pretty white flourish, as well as the fun kit and my adorable photos of course.
Once I had decided on my photo placement I added a small velum bagshipping tag and some twine from the kit. I then layered 2 of the doilies and the strip of scalloped gold glitter card (also from the kit).

I then embellished with the bow, flowers, flair and gold dots. And I added some strips of gold washi along the top and bottom of the page (yes, all from the kit)!
The gold numeral Thickers are from American Crafts and I intend to use them for each day in the Christmas countdown :)
The red alphas and words are from the Sn@p range and I've also used a Pebbles roller date stamp.

Funny Little Elf!

I love documenting the adventures of our two Elf on the Shelf's in my Holiday SMASH* folio. On these 2 pages/days the Elves went racing on our reindeers and made some paper snowflakes! Jessica just loved getting up each morning and seeing what new activity the Elves were trying out!
I've used a heap of fun D-Lish Scraps goodies on these pages. On the LH page I've added a gold paper doilie, a small velum bagFreckled Fawn wood chips hearts and arrow, and white star mini sequins. I scatter the mini sequins across the page then dot glue next to them, then I use a Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil to place the sequins on the glue - easy.
I also added some die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; a tag from the Holiday SMASH* kit and used some stamps from Kellie Stamps - "Funny little elf" and "Elf on the ..." from the Elf mini 2013 stamp set
On the RH page I've used more fun D-Lish Scraps goodies. I've added another gold paper doilie, shipping taga white bitty blooms, a micros feathers (sprayed with red Colorshine), Freckled Fawn dew drops gold arrow and silver arrow paperclip, a Christmas journal spot and red Hand dyed muslin.
I also added die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; and used some stamps from Kellie Stamps - "cute" and "tricky" from the Elf mini 2012 stamp set. I used the SMASH* holiday roller date stamp, and I added some twine and enamel dots from my stash.

I sprinkled some green star mini sequins across the page then glued them to the page with Crystal Effects and using a Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil to place the sequins
On the RH page I first sprayed with green Dylusions ink. Then I layered a bag, shipping tagand a Christmas Journal-it underneath the 2 photos.

Kellie Stamps January 2014 Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Kellie Stamps 1 January 2014 Blog Hop!!

This month there are 5 clear stamp sets, 6 wood mount stamps, wooden flair and metal flair being released at Kellie Stamps!! The wood and metal flair are so awesome - they coordinate with some of the stamps and are my favourite embellishments to use on SMASH* and scrapbook pages.

This hop showcases this new range of products - it is full of inspiration and there are prizes to be won ... yay!!! So hop along with us and enjoy the ride!

If you have come from the amazingly talented
Jodie then you are right on track. If not you should go to the very start with Kellie.

Today I've got a few SMASH* pages to show you. The first is from my Holiday SMASH* folio where I'm documenting Christmas 2013. To tell the truth I'm way behind in this documentation process and this page is for November when our two Elf on a Shelf's arrived.
On these pages I've used a heap of products from Kellie Stamps : the "You are absolutely amazing" wood mount stamp from the new release; two wooden flair (you are amazing and the triangles); as well as "Elf on the shelf 2013", "the elf", and "Cheeky" from the Elf mini 2013 stamp set.
One of the things I love about the wood mount stamps is that they are always ready to go for those phrases or quotes that you use all the time.
I'm a lover of all wood veneer embellishments and I love that these coordinate with the stamp sets!
I've also used a heap of die cuts from Pink Paislee Snow Villiage collection; Studio Calico tree, star and heart wood veneer; Prima house and Joy wood veneer; APOCD elf flair; SMASH* holiday roller date stamp; and paper doilies, twine, chevron bag, button, enamel dots and tag from my stash.

My next page is from my 365 SMASH* folio that I'm using to document 2013. I do about 6 pages per month. I'm still back at September but I will catch up, I will, I will!!
On these 2 pages I've used more of the new release stamps from Kellie Stamps: "Happy Camper", "having so much fun" and the row of triangles from the Summer 2014 stamp set; "Keen as mustard" and "cool bananas" from the Photo bomb set; "you little rippa" and "you little bewdy" from the Australia day 2014 stamp set.
I've used some papers, kraft bag/tag and wooden moustache's from a Movember Tart kit from Lime Tart - raising money to support mens health!
I've also used Studio Calico boat, arrow and chevron wood veneer; Prima leaf wood veneer; and paper doilies, twine, chevron bag, flair, enamel dots and tag from my stash.
My SMASH* books always get very thick and can be difficult to photograph so I took this photo to show how I lift up one side of my book!
Next on the hop is the talented Sue so hop on over for more fabulous inspiration!

It wouldn't be a blog hop without a giveaway would it!

The Christmas Pageant!

I'm using my Holiday SMASH* folio to document Christmas 2013 for our family (and all the related events that lead up to it!). The first event was the Adelaide Christmas Pageant which was held at the start of November. It was perfect weather and we arrived very early to get a fantastic viewing spot. This is one of our family traditions and we have many special memories.
On the LH page I've added a silver paper doilie, a shipping tag a small velum bag a white bitty blooms, a micros feathers (sprayed with silver Colorshine), and a today speech bubble, all from D-Lish ScrapsI used my Motex tape writer and some green tape to write the title.

I also added some twine, washi, enamel dots and a flower from my stash.
On the RH page I've layered 4 photos on a white paper doilie along with more paper strips from the Studio Calico Magical collection.
I've then added a heap of D-Lish Scraps embellishments including and a white bitty blooms, a micros feathers (sprayed with silver Colorshine), Freckled Fawn dew drops gold arrow, Freckled Fawn wood chips heart, and red star mini sequins. I use a Clever Sequin Pick-up Pencil to place the sequins on the pageI used my Motex tape writer and some green tape to write the title.

On to my Crafty project. I just love to SMASH*. More recently I seem to have spent more time Scrapbooking but I was really just waiting for the Holiday SMASH* folio to become available in Australia so that I could start documenting our Christmas. Well, mine only arrived just over a week ago so I have lots of catching up to do!

These are 2 pages in the Holiday folio. I had to take 2 photos because there was a plastic page between them and I haven't decided what to do with that yet. The LH page already had a place to document your "Top 10 Christmas tunes" - what a great idea! I listed my favourites and left the page at that. That's what I love about SMASH*ing - there are no rules! And I love the unique and often quirky pages that you have to work with.
My photos were taken at Santa's Magic Cave in Adelaide where we took our daughter for the first time. The RH page was already a lot busier with a red chevron background so I kept my embellishments simpler.  I layered a bag & tag, white paper doilie and lots of diecuts from the Pink Paislee Snow Village collection. I love the gold colour and all the velum!
The angel was from a packet of metal Christmas embellishments I found at a "Bed, Bath and Table" shop - I'm always on the lookout :)

I also used a heap of alphas, stamps, wood veneer, washi, tags, flowers and twine from my stash.
So if you are looking for a quick and easy way to document December and the Christmas period I would thoroughly recommend you try a SMASH* folio.

It wouldn't be a blog hop without a giveaway would it!
I'm giving away an envelope filled with some of my favourite goodies for SMASH*ing . This prize is on offer for anyone worldwide.
In order to enter please be a follower of my blog and leave me a comment telling me your favourite Christmas song! Entries will close on 22 December.

There are also more prizes being given away on the other "12 days of craftmas" posts - please make sure you follow the entry instructions!
