Currently Me - Week 52!

Woo Hoo! Another Journal finished!! This time it is my my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal. 

I've really loved making this journal and having commonality throughout it (via the Currently cards), but I'm also glad to finish it. This year I'm going to try something different. I'm still deciding what format, but I want to continue to do something about me - maybe less structured in an art journal  ...  I will let you know!

On these pages I've leftovers from my Christmas embellishments and stickers from Stampin' Up! as well as a 2014 flair from Kellie Stamps.

Currently Me - Weeks 50-51!

Today I'm sharing two more pages for December in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal. On these pages I've mainly used goodies from the Freckled Fawn October 2014 OHDEERME kit. I really love these kits but have recently stopped my subscription - the postage costs and falling Australian dollar just made them too expensive :(

Today's crafty share for you is two pages for November in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.

The first photo was taken outside the Adelaide Entertainment centre at the Katy Perry concert and the other photo was a selfie at a roadside farmers fruit stall where I love to buy my apples.

Today's crafty share for you is two pages for October in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.  On these pages I've used the My Paper Balloon October embellishment kit. This is another fun kit with splashes of gold and sparkly teal. I especially love the yummy Evalicious flair and paperclips!!

The first photo is of Jessica and I taking her bike for a ride on the bike track. The next photo is a family car selfie!!

Currently Me - Weeks 38-39!

Today's crafty share for you is two more pages for September in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.  On these pages I've used the last of the My Paper Balloon September embellishment kit. I cant believe I made 10 SMASH* pages with it (plus a few additional embellishments).

The photos I've included are a family pic of us Jamin' with Jimmie at the Wax Museum in Sydney, and a selfie taken after a  haircut - feels a bit short this time :) 

In addition to the kit I've used some Pinkfresh Studio Navajo arrows and hearts, Freckled Fawn emoticon wood veneers and D-Lish Scraps Wow speech bubble wood veneer. I've also used a Currently card (free digi download) from Kristin at Rukristin, and some October Afternoon roller stamps and Pebbles roller date stamp.

I try and include a photo of myself taken each week and I love to use the gorgeous Currently card (free digi download) from Kristin at Rukristin.

On these pages I've only used the My Paper Balloon September embellishment kit - I love the gold word stickers - perfect for my page!

The photos I've included are my daughter Rachael on her 13th birthday - I bought her Katy Perry tickets (and I get to go too!!), and a photo of me when I delivered my scrapbooking entries to the Royal Adelaide Show.

I've just started subscribing to the My Paper Balloon embellishment kits. They are an Australian business and the kits cost $15.95 with $3 shipping within Australia. On these pages I've used the September kit called Lollipop! I managed to make 10 SMASH* pages using this kit, with only the addition of photos, journalling cards, stamps and sequins.

Here are two pages for the first half of August in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.

Currently Creative - Currently Me, Weeks 28-29!

Every Wednesday is a "Currently Creative Link-up" over on Kellie's Blog. To tell the truth I haven't been very creative lately - life hasn't allowed it. But I've got lots of plans!! 

Lately I have been working on my "Currently Me 2014" journal. My aim is to record weekly my own personal interests and activities with the aim of being able to reflect back over the months. Most of my scrapbooking tends to be about my girls and our family so this is something I do just for myself. I hope you all make time to Scrap/SMASH* or PL pages about yourself :) I'm keeping it simple, using papers etc from mainly 1 collection, using lots of stamps, and using relatively flat embellishments.

We went for a walk and made a cubby in an old tree trunks and found lots of pretty stones. Currently Me - Weeks 22-23!

I've finally had time to catch up on some of my "Currently Me 2014" journal. I really enjoy reflecting back on my interests and activities over the months. My motto for this journal is "keep it simple" and so I'm using papers etc from mainly 1 collection, using lots of stamps, and using relatively flat embellishments. 

These pages are for the end of May and start of June. The first photo is of my regular morning cuppa. I didnt have any photos of myself this week and I love looking at pics of other peoples cups - so here is mine :) The other photo is of my family. We all went away for the June long weekend. It was so much fun to catch up with mum and dad, and my brother and sister and their amazing families - we must do this more often.

Hmm, a bit of catch up for me with my "Currently Me 2014" journal. These pages are for the last 2 weeks in March. We were going in to Autumn so that meant the end of our glorious summer vegetables. This year I made tomato sauce, yumm!!
