The Places We'll Go!

Today's scrapbook share is a page I made where I stamped my own background. It was different to the usual backgrounds I make using watercolours and patterned stamps. I have a KaiserCraft set of stamps with 3 different sayings on them - all perfect for scrapbooking. So I repeatedly stamped these across my background in a blue colour except for 3 places where I used a black ink to highlight the sayings. I quite like the effect - and I always like making my own patterned paper!!

The photos were taken on our recent trip to Sydney. I just love Rachael photo-bombing in the background - too funny!!

I've cut a heap of strips of patterned paper from the Studio Calico Printshop collection to layer under and around my photos, and I've also added a silver paper doilie. Most of the embellishments are from the My Paper Balloon November embellishment kit.

Currently Me - Weeks 46-47!

Today's crafty share for you is two pages for November in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.

The first photo was taken outside the Adelaide Entertainment centre at the Katy Perry concert and the other photo was a selfie at a roadside farmers fruit stall where I love to buy my apples.

On these pages I've mainly used the My Paper Balloon November embellishment kit. In addition to the kit I've used a Currently card (free digi download) from Kristin at Rukristin, some stickers from Stampin' Up!, and some October Afternoon roller stamps.

Currently Me - Weeks 44-45!

Today's crafty share for you is two pages for October and November in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.

The first photo was taken at a school fair - Jessica and John are in the Dodgem cars behind me! The second photo was me with a beautiful rose John bought home for me - a beautiful surprise!

On these pages I've used the My Paper Balloon October and November embellishment kits. In addition to the kit I've used a Currently card (free digi download) from Kristin at Rukristin, and some October Afternoon roller stamps.

Adventure Awaits!

Today I have 2 pages from October and November in my "SMASH*ing 2014" Journal (using the Tasty SMASH* folio). The photos on the left are of Jessica and John on the Dodgem cars - her first time! The photos on the right are of Jessica sitting in a little tent on the lounge while watching TV - too funny!

I made the calendar using MS Word - provides a great summary of highlights of the month.

On these pages I've used goodies from a range of Freckled Fawn OHDEERME kits; My Paper Balloon embellishment kits; and stamps from Kellie Stamps.

Currently Me - Weeks 38-39!

Today's crafty share for you is two more pages for September in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal.  On these pages I've used the last of the My Paper Balloon September embellishment kit. I cant believe I made 10 SMASH* pages with it (plus a few additional embellishments).

The photos I've included are a family pic of us Jamin' with Jimmie at the Wax Museum in Sydney, and a selfie taken after a  haircut - feels a bit short this time :) 

In addition to the kit I've used some Pinkfresh Studio Navajo arrows and hearts, Freckled Fawn emoticon wood veneers and D-Lish Scraps Wow speech bubble wood veneer. I've also used a Currently card (free digi download) from Kristin at Rukristin, and some October Afternoon roller stamps and Pebbles roller date stamp.

Now She Is A Teenager!

Today I have  2 pages are from August in my "SMASH*ing 2014" Journal (using the Tasty SMASH* folio). Once again I made the calendar using MS Word - A great way to record our daily activities.There are photos from Rachael's 13th birthday - she loved opening up all her presents!

I've just started subscribing to the My Paper Balloon embellishment kits. They are an Australian business and the kits cost $15.95 with $3 shipping within Australia. On these pages I've used the September kit called Lollipop! I managed to make 10 SMASH* pages using this kit, with only the addition of photos, journalling cards, stamps and sequins.

Here are two pages for the first half of August in my "Currently Me 2014" SMASH* journal. 

Other than the My Paper Balloon September embellishment kit I've used : Kellie Stamps stamps; Stampin' Up! Epic Day This and That Journal; Currently card (free digi download) from Kristin at Rukristin; Pebbles roller date stamp; and sequins from my stash.
