More Distress Oxide Cards - With Scrapping Clearly!

Today I'm showing some more cards I made using Distress Oxide's available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store

I wanted to continue experimenting with how they worked and other colour combinations. For the first card I swiped the inkpad direct to my cardstock then spritzed with water. I dried this off then I tapped the card gently back down on my craft mat to soak up the remaining ink.

For the next card I stamped the ink pad direct to my craft mat, then spritzed with water, then smooshed my card on the inks. I did this a few times, drying off between each smoosh.
For the last card I used a paint brush to splatter the watery inks across my page. I decided that I would use this card to stamp some circles onto. I then fussy cut all the circles to use on my cards.

Here are my finished cards. I matted my background card onto a piece of patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Moonstruck collection. Then I attached a strip of gold foil velum, also from the Moonstruck collection, with a tiny attacher. Then I added some of the stamped circles and a sentiment from my stash.
How awesome does this background look! and I love how the splatters show up on the stamped circles.
I assembled the second card in a similar way.
I love the way this background looks like it has been watercoloured but has more of a matt chalky appearance.

Shine - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page made using lots of gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard. These pages were made for the Seriously POSH collection kit available at Scrapping Clearly. The photo used for this page was from Melbourne cup day last year :)
For this page I've used Simple Stories POSH papers, diecuts, stickers and enamel dots as well as paints, chipboard, a gold foil doilie and bakers twine. I've cut cards from one of the journalling papers and added a photo of the same size. This was matted on another piece of patterned paper and a gold doilie attached behind. If my doilie is not big enough I cut it in half and attach on each side.
All of the chipboard has been painted with navy blue Jo Sonia acrylic paint. Painting all chipboard the same colour unifies the page (and involves less decisions lol)!
Imaginarium Designs chipboard I've used includes

Loolabelles chevrons #2: Code IDDL0022
Nats hearts 1 : code IDD0042

Pocket Page Scrapbooking - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing some pocket page scrapbooking made using lots of gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard. These pages were made for the Seriously POSH collection kit available at Scrapping Clearly. This kit is sold out but there are lots of other amazing kits available and I will have another kit out in June :)
The basis for the POSH kit was the Simple Stories POSH collection pack as well as paints, chipboard and other fun embellishments. Here is a close up of the LHS. All of the photos for these pages were of the Delta Goodrem concert we went to last year. I've been really struggling to keep up with weekly project life so instead now I mainly use pocket pages for events or occasions - so much more achievable!
All of the chipboard has been painted with acrylic paints that coordinated with the paper collection.
Here is a close up of the RHS.
I've added lots of fun stickers and diecuts to my cards as well as enamel dots and the painted chipboard.
Imaginarium Designs chipboard I've used includes

Loolabelles callouts : code IDD0046
Loolabelles chevrons #2: Code IDDL0022
Nats hearts 1 : code IDD0042

Distress Oxide Cards - With Scrapping Clearly!

Today I'm showing some cards I made using Distress Oxide's available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store

I wanted to experiment with how they worked so I made a few different backgrounds for my cards. Warning: these ink pads are very addictive and you will find yourself wanting every colour lol!

For the first card I stamped the ink pads direct to my craft mat, then spritzed with water, then smooshed my card on the inks. I did this a few times, drying off between each smoosh.

For the next card I stamped the ink pads direct to my craft mat, then spritzed with water, then I used a paintbrush to transfer some of the watery ink to a piece of plastic, then I smooshed the plastic onto my card. I did one colour at a time and carefully directed the ink where I wanted it to go.

After I had completed this for each ink I let it dry then I added paint splatters of each colour - trying to splatter the same colour onto the "Smooshed" section.
Once this had dried I added some stamping using the Fancy Pants Designs Golden Days stamp set
Here are my finished cards. I matted my background card onto some coloured card then the card base. Then I added some of additional stamped images and a sentiment from my stash.
I just loved how this card turned out - the background was so pretty I didnt want to cover it up!!
Here is the second card - how amazing does this background look - again it was far too pretty to cover up!
