Birthday Cards - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing two birthday cards made using lots of gorgeous new Imaginarium Designs chipboard.
These cards coordinate with the scrapbook page I shared the other day. When possible I try and make some cards using similar colours, papers and embellishments as the scrapbook pages I make - this means I can quickly make some useful cards using leftovers from my scrapbook projects!

I used papers from the Heidi Swapp Magnolia Jane collection and Prima Watercolor Confections "Pastel Dreams".

I started by watercolouring using the "Painting with plastic" technique, then adding splats of each colour. This white cardstock was cut down to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" then matted on Magnolia Jane papers then put on a 6" x 6" card base.
All of the chipboard was painted with the watercolour paints, then I applied some BoBunny glitter paste (rose gold) over the top of the butterflies for some sparkle!
I love this new Happy Birthday font - isn't it divine!! as is this background flourish - such a statement piece!

Little Things Make My Day - With Imaginarium Designs!

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook page made using lots of gorgeous new Imaginarium Designs chipboard

Christmas time was so busy, then we went on holidays, so its been some time since I crafted. This meant that when I did have time last weekend my mind went blank and my mojo disappeared lol! So I went back to my roots and got out my water colours and went from there.
I chose my colour palate from the photo - and wanted to use pinks and browns. I used papers and tags from the Heidi Swapp Magnolia Jane collection, and I used my Prima Watercolor Confections "Pastel Dreams".
I started by watercolouring using the "Painting with plastic" technique, then adding splats of each colour. This white cardstock was cut down to 11" x 11" then matted on 2 sheets of Magnolia Jane papers.
I matted my photo on a paper doilie and a tag from the Magnolia Jane collection and these were attached to the left side of my page.
All of the chipboard was painted with the watercolour paints (pink and brown), then I applied some BoBunny glitter paste (rose gold) over the top for some sparkle!
I painted the title in a brown watercolour paint for contrast and added some glitter paste along the bottom.
Lastly I added some paper flowers, a date stamp and handwritten journalling.

She Is Authentic - With Scrapping Clearly!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made with lots of painty goodness (Dina Wakley acrylic paints) and embellishments from the Pink Fresh Studio "Escape the ordinary" collection - all available in the  Scrapping Clearly Store.
I created my background on a sheet of white cardstock, first using a selection of Dina Wakley acrylic paints (Evergreen, Cheddar, Black, Ruby, Elephant).
I used a spatula to swipe the paint across my page.
Next I added some stamping with a fun Carabelle Studio stamp "scribbles in my journal" and black Archival ink
Lastly I added a Dyan Reaveleys Dylusions stencil - old school alpha and Faber Castell Whipped Spackle - I love the lightness of whipped spackle compared to texture paste!
Once this was dry I clustered elements to the top left side - a layered tag, a stitched heart and gold wood veneers for the title. I also included some script velum from my stash.
Under my photo I also added a section of script velum as well as a layered tag, fabric die cut and a stitched heart
These Pinkfresh Studio "Escape The Ordinary" chipboard stickers were perfect additions to my page - I just love these triangle shapes!
Lastly I added a few more leftover scraps from my craft desk and a "Shine On" elements cut from the Search paper
