This week is Snapshots week over at Paper House Productions. There is lots of awesome inspiration using the Snapshots range, giveaways, and great discounts on all of the Snapshots collections
To celebrate I've made a beach themed scrapbook page using items from the ColorWays collection Cork'd collection and Snapshots collections
I've used the ColorWays Sapphire paper pack and started by roughly painting a thin layer of matt white gesso over my background page - for a weathered look. I then layered a number of different patterned paper sheets under my photo, as well as adding a paper doilie and a "happiness" rubon from the happy moment rubon transfer set.
I applied a transfer (also from the happy moment rubon transfers) to a sheet of paper then cut it out and adhered it down over a piece of muslin.
I added some starfish and "life is good" cork stickers from the nautical cork stickers packet. As well as a journalling spot and anchor charm from my stash.
Then I added nearly an entire packet of Snapshots stickers from the At the shore Snapshot stickers packet.
Finally I added some twine and sequins across my page.
I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600, and I've used a SMASH* pen for journalling.
Remember to head over to the Paper House Productions website for more inspiration and giveaways

Currently Me!
Todays share is a scrapbook page I had published in Vol 17 No 10 of Scrapbooking Memories Magazine. The theme was "no kids allowed".
Last year I made weekly SMASH*book pages using these "Currently Me" digi cards from Rukristin. It is a great way to capture and compare your interests and activities over a period of time.
This was a page about Me for May 2014 :)
After deciding on the basic layout of the page I made my own background. I gesso'd the page first and then added some stencils (by TCW). then I used used yellow, orange and red watercolour paints. Then I added lots of stamping (KaiserCraft and Prima).
I added a flair and some flower and resin embellishments from D-lish Scraps, as well as die-cuts and stickers from October Afternoon.
I used a variety of wood veneer from Freckled Fawn, Pinkfresh Studio and Studio Calico.
I painted this wooden word then added some glossy accents to make it shine.

She Loves To Shop!
Todays share is a scrapbook page I was commissioned to do for Scrapbooking Memories Magazine (Vol 17 No 10). I was challenged to "create a layout without using more than 1 piece from a collection".
I also gave a few ideas for this challenge:
- Try using a monochromatic colour scheme - you could even sort your papers into colour groups for storage
-add neutral coloured papers to break up the colour, eg black and white patterns or cream and brown
-add wooden, gold or silver embellishments to make the monochromatic page pop.
Here is my page. I've used one of my favourite colour combinations, and used a fun photo of Rachael shopping (what teenage girl doesn't like to shop!!!).
I've used a range of patterned papers from American Crafts, Dear Lizzy, Amy Tangerine, KaiserCraft and Studio Calico. I've also used a gorgeous "lush lollipop embellishment" from Charms creations.
Other items I have used include : paper flowere, chevron bag and journal it tag from D-lish Scraps; wood veneer, wooden button, puffy word sticker and paper doilies from Freckled Fawn; flair from A Piece Of Cake Designs; wood veneer and a tag from Studio Calico; a silver paperclip from Stampin' Up!; and cotton thread from my stash.
Lastly I added my title using alphas from Jillibean Soup, and added the date using a Pebbles roller date stamp.

Project Life - Week 11!
Today I'm showing you Week 11 for my "Schultz Family 2015" Project Life Album.
I've used lots of goodies from Scrappy Canary, including the March Pocket Life Kit - Whimsy, as well as leftover embellishments from previous kits and shop items. I've used the Pinkfresh Studio paper collection pack for a 4x6 card, punched out some shapes, and made my own flair.
Here is a close up of the LHS.
I've printed on one of the cards and added some Heidi Swapp wood veneers to another of the PL cards in the kit.
Here I've layered a label, punched shape, and chipboard die cut on another adorable card.
I love to save memorabilia from our outings so this score card and arm band made a perfect addition to the page.
Here is a close up of the RHS.
The photos on these pages were from Jessica's 7th birthday - she loves birthdays! Dont you love the sticky date pudding birthday cake - her choice!!
I love the tiny phrase stickers in the kit - adorable!
I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600.
When you are shopping at the Scrappy Canary online store remember to use the code "KARYN10" to get 10% off your purchases!!!

Project Life Week 10 - With Paper House Productions!
Today I'm showing you Week 10 for my "Schultz Family 2015" Project Life Album.
I've used lots of goodies from the ColorWays collection over at Paper House Productions. I've used the ColorWays Noir paper pack, ColorWays Noir Accent Pack, Amazing Life rubon transfers, Make Today rubon transfers, and Enjoy Puffy stickers.
Here is a close up of the LHS. I love this photo of Jessica showing off the hole where her tooth used to be! This was a quiet week for me so I've included photos of our garden and some crafty happy mail.
Rubon transfers are a perfect accent on white cards - here I've used one from Amazing Life rubon transfers set.
There are lots of elements in the ColorWays Noir Accent Pack, that can be layered on PL cards. This photo is of one of my favourite breakfasts - toast with Vegemite, tomato and cheese ... so yummy!!
Some of the papers in the ColorWays Noir paper pack are designed for PL cards, I've used one here, as well as adding some accents and a flair I made from some of the patterned paper. I've also added a movie ticket and a week in review card I made using MS Word on my PC. .
Here is a close up of the RHS. Jessica loves crafting - so I had to include these special photos of her creations!
I've used more cards cut from papers in the ColorWays Noir paper pack as well as adding coordinating transfers.
On this card I've added a collection of rubons, accents and Enjoy Puffy stickers.
This gorgeous card is in the ColorWays Noir Accent Pack, I added some pink card behind the heart cutout for a pop of colour.
The hospital photos on this page were when my daughter hurt her arm in an accident - I journalled the event and added it in this chevron envelope for privacy.
I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600, and I've used a SMASH* pen for journalling.

Project Life - Week 9!
I hope you are all enjoying your Easter long weekend, eating chocolate, spending time with Family and Friends and maybe enjoying some crafting time!
Today I'm showing you Week 9 for my "Schultz Family 2015" Project Life Album.
I've used lots of goodies Scrappy Canary, including the February Pocket Life kit - Courageous and the February embellishment kit - Fierce as well as some extras I purchased (the MME On Trend 6x6 paper pad, Heidi Swapp wood veneers, Simple Stories cardboard stickers and PinkFresh Studio chevrons).
Here is a close up of the LHS. The 6x4 cards are cut from the MME paper pad - I always like to purchase an additional coordinating paper pad to use with my PL.
I love using all the gorgeous alphas in the PL kit - they look even better when mixed and matched!
The wood veneer are Heidi Swapp wood veneers - you can never have too many of these!
Here is a close up of the RHS. The 6x4 cards are again cut from the MME paper pad and the 3x4 cards are from the PL kit.
I just love the colours and designs on these Simple Stories "I Am" cards. I've embellished them with some extra Simple Stories cardboard stickers.
I like to keep my cards relatively simple but there is always space for wood veneer and cork!
I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600, and I've used a SMASH* pen for journalling.

Life Zesters - April Challenge!
There is a new challenge over at the Life Zesters Project Life Challenge blog. The
Challenge for April is a sketch challenge!
You need to create a PL card based on this sketch to include in your PL layout. Remember you can change the orientation if you like!
I've used lots of cards from MME and Simple Stories on this page.
Here is a close up of the RHS.
Here is a close up of the card I made using the sketch. I've been doing some art journalling lately so I wanted to include this on my page. An arty background using watercolours was a perfect backdrop for my photo and I placed some of the paint to suit the sketch. I added some alphas and embellishments and my card was finished!
I like adding some handwritten journalling to personalise the cards and I love using the Simple Stories photo stickers.
I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600.and I've used a SMASH* pen for journalling.
For the April challenge we have some awesome sponsors -
A $15 gift voucher from Freckled Fawn
See all the information, more amazing inspiration, and the rules on the Life Zesters Blog!

Live The Life - Scrap The Girls!
The April challenge at Scrap The Girls is a colour challenge.
My daughter Rachael likes to take my camera and take 40-60 photos of herself - sometimes it is the only photos she likes to be in! So I chose one of these photos for my page.
I made my background with my watercolour paints, swiping and splatting!! Then I used a stencil (from the January Pinkfresh Studio kit) and an ink dauber in a few places - I love the softer effect it has compared to the paints. Then I added a heap of stamps (KaiserCraft and Prima).
This stamp is a KaiserCraft one and it was perfect for the title.
I also used some paper flowers and a silver doilie (from D-Lish Scraps), Flair from Basic Grey, and wood veneer from Freckled Fawn and Pinkfresh Studio.
I added a Freckled Fawn paperclip and hand journalled around the edge using a SMASH* pen.
