Christmas Cards - done for this year!

Wowee, I'm done with my Christmas cards. I thought it would never end! But I still have a few to show you over the next 2 weeks. I'm following the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl again. This card is for my youngest daughter. She is 3 and Pink is definitely best!!! Santa - please bring her something pink and sparkly!!

Getting Sketchy at the Sugar Bowl!

There is another fantastic sketch this week over at The Sugar Bowl. I love sketches to get me started with a card. This is my second to last Christmas card - for my eldest daughter. Turquoise is her favourite colour at the moment - looks pretty for Christmas!!

Merry Christmas from the Adorable Crystal Flakes!

Have you ever made a card for a challenge then just as you went to upload it you realised it was too late! Well that just happened to me - Oops! Never mind, I also had my eyes on a few other challenges. I find challenges a great way to motivate me - with inspiration and a deadline!
Isn't this image just adorable, its "Crystal Flakes" from Sugar Nellie, and I love all the white cards I've been seeing out there lately!!

Over at the Sugar Nellie FB (here) page the current challenge is "Less is More". Hmmm hopefully I havent added too much, but this is definitely "Less" for me. This is one of my favourite Simply Sassy images and she looks adorable on Kraft cardstock - dont you think!

A Sugar Bowl Sweet Wedding Card!

The current challenge at the Sugar Bowl Blog is a sketch with the option of a wedding theme. A few weeks ago I won a yummy wedding candy pack from Sugar Nellies which included this gorgeous image (Thanks so much!!). And also a friend just asked me to make a wedding card for her. All In White!

The Sugar bowl have another challenge at the moment (see here) it is a sketch with an optional theme of clean and simple. I've seen a few cards lately with an all white theme so I thought I'd try it myself. I get variations in the white using texture (embossing) and edges. I quite like the result - what do you think?

A Gorjuss Challenge!

I've seen a number of cards made lately with the adorable Sugar Nellie images. I thought "I need to get me some of these images". I had to laugh when I looked through my stash and found some already - but that doesnt mean that I dont need more!!
I've made a card as an entry to the Sugar Bowl Challenge # 53. This challenge was a sketch and a photo for colour inspiration. I'm still loving the black and white colouring on Kraft cardstock and isnt this Gorjuss image adorable.
