Bee A Wildflower - With Bee Arty!

  Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page and an ATC to share with you made using the Blooming Gnomes collection available from Bee Arty.

I was inspired by the sketch in the March mood board and Sketch challenge.

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I used a painting with plastic technique to add  Emerald, Blush and Espresso Mica powder then I added splatters of each colour.

I added stencilling using the Garden Stencil and and Leather Colour Paste

Here is my finished page.

I added diecuts created using the Bricks metal die and Kraft Cardstock. Fussy cut elements and papers are from the Blooming Gnomes paper collection pack.

I've been inspired by all the Artist Trading Card (ATC) swaps I've seen on social media. Although I haven't been part of any groups, I have created some for myself. They have a great small size of 2.5"x3.5" so are an achievable project in a limited time. This card was inspired by the colours in the March Challenge and created using leftovers from my Blooming Gnomes projects :).

Blooming Gnomes is a romantic collection with quirky vibes, and is designed by the talented Karen Yates. You will love this collection - the stamps, stencils and dies are not to be missed! You can subscribe to the kit here. Kits come with a paper pack, stencils, metal dies, stamp sets, embellishments and full colour kit instructions.

Let Love Grow - With Bee Arty!

  Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page and an ATC to share with you made using the Blooming Gnomes collection available from Bee Arty.

I'm playing along with the colours in the April mood board and have been inspired by the sketch. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Bee Arty online voucher. You have until April 30th and you need to upload your challenge here (please follow challenge rules).

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I was inspired by the background of the sketch so I used a pencil to mark some background squares, then I added a wash of colour using Espresso, Thunder Blue, and Emerald Mica powder inside each square. When dry I added splatters of each of these colours. Then I used my sewing machine to stitch around the edges.

I added stencilling using the Garden Stencil and and Leather Colour Paste in 2 of the squares.

Here is my finished page.

I added diecuts created using the Stitched Wildflowers metal die set and 250gsm White Cardstock. Fussy cut elements are from the Blooming Gnomes paper collection pack.
