Dream - With Scrapping Clearly!

  Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

To create a background I used a sheet of heavy weight white cardstock and added strips of Heidi Swapp Old School "Art District" paper across the top of the page. Next I painted coordinating Prima watercolour confections across the page. When this had dried I also added splatters of each colour.

I then added some background stamping and texture paste through a stencil (hard to see).

 Here is my completed page.

The photo mats, tags and words were cut from a sheet of paper from the Heidi Swapp Old School 6x8 paper pad - I love the smaller size of the patterns in the pad compared to the 12x12 sheets.  I added a title and stars using Glitter Foam word stickers.

Here are some close-ups of the page.

Don't Stop Until You're Proud - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using a variety of products from Bee Arty.

I created this layout recently for a live on the Colour Blast be Bee Arty facebook page (watch here) and thought I would show some close-up pics and links in a blog post.

I started with a sheet of Comfort Zone paper from the Fearless, Brave and Free collection. I add to this background by adding Peacock, Cobalt, and Paris Colour Shimmer Dusts using a painting with plastic technique and splatters.

When this is dry (I always dry thoroughly between layers) I add stencilling using the Organised Chaos stencil and Cobalt Colour Shimmer Dust (mixed with water then gently sponged through the stencil).

Then add more stencilling using the Directions stencil and Dusty Charcoal Colour Paste
Next add stamping using the Cool Words stamp set and a black archival ink pad. I just use parts of these word stamps to add to my background.

I mat the photo on Strength paper. Then embellish the page with diecuts using the Calendula metal die, the Fine Feathers metal die, and the Frame metal die. I've also added elements (circles and arrows) cut from the Leap paper and words from the Free paper. Finally I doodle around the page with a fine black Life of colour pen (I love love love these pens - the best paint pens, and an Australian company!).

Here is my completed page.

Believe - With Scrapping Clearly!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

This page was inspired by a challenge at a recent "Create All Day" event held by Natalie May Scrapbooking in Adelaide. The challenge was to be inspired by the event logo.

To create a background I used a sheet of heavy weight white cardstock, and I painted Prima watercolour confections across the page in the colours of the event logo. When this had dried I also added splatters of each colour.

 Here is my completed page.

I used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream collection 6x8 papers on the page. I fussy cut the rainbows and butterflies from 2 of the pages, I matted my photo on a paper doilie and some of the papers and I cut a house element from another page. I added a title using Glitter Foam word stickers. And I used a roller date stamp to add some random word stamping. Lastly I used a Fude Ball pen to draw around the edge of the layout.

Here are some close-ups of the page.

Let's Go - With Scrapping Clearly!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly

For this page I was inspired by a challenge at a recent "Create All Day" event held by Natalie May Scrapbooking in Adelaide. The challenge was to scraplift Nat's layout. This same challenge is also inspiration in the Natalie May Scrapbooking Creative Community for March.

To create a background I added a geometric stencil pattern (using texture paste) to a square shape in the center of a sheet of heavy weight white cardstock. Then I painted Prima watercolour confections on using a painting with Plastic technique and splatters. Next I used a Fude Ball pen to draw around the edge of the stencilled area.

 Here is my completed page.

I matted my photo on Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Good Stuff" paper and distressed the edges. I fussy cut lots of butterflies from a sheet of Vicki Boutin Field Notes "Take Flight" paper, then I added a selection in an ombre pattern across the page. I added a title using Glitter Foam word stickers. And used a roller date stamp to add some random word stamping.

Here are some close-ups of the page.

Fun Times - With Bee Arty!

  Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the Bohemian Bliss Collection from Bee Arty.

I started with a sheet of heavyweight 350gsm white cardstock. I wanted to add a light wash of yellow to the background so I mixed 1 drop of Citrus Colour Artist Ink to a half a mini-mister of water. I then sprayed it across the page and let it drip down the page. You can add more ink to get a more vibrant colour.

When this had dried I added splatters of  Citrus Colour Artist Ink.

Here is my completed page. I just love this collection - the dies are so delicate and I love love love the flowers!

I've fussy cut lots of flowers and butterflies from the paper collection and added white diecuts using the Calendula metal die and words cut from the Sweet Talker paper.

I've added a barcode strip from the Free Vibe paper sheet, a white die cut from the Fine Feathers metal die and added a flower and metal charm from the kit. If you look closely at the metal charm you can see that it has a transparent yellow center - I created this by adding a mix of Citrus Colour Artist Ink and gloss gel.

Moodboard Art Journalling - With Bee Arty!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have an art journal page to share with you made using lots of fun products available from Bee Arty.

I'm playing along with the March creative challenge which is a fabulous moodboard this month. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Bee Arty store voucher. You have until March 31 and you need to upload your challenge to the appropriate album in the facebook group.

I'm using a cotton watercolour page in my DWM art journal. I start by applying Colour Mica Powder in Polar, Royalty and Rose Petal to my page using a painting with plastic technique. You can either mix the mica powders with water in a paint palate or I have mixed the mica with gum arabic and created my own pan paint set.

Next I've added some stencilling using the Scripted stencil (from the Love and Grace collection) and Just Blue Colour Paste. This Colour paste was starting to go a bit thick so I carefully mixed some Isopropyl alcohol with it to thin it down - just add a few drops at a time and mix until blended and the consistency you like.

Then I added some stamping using the "All Class" stamp set from the Trendsetter collection.

I created my own floral embellishments by stamping flowers from the Floral Delights II stamp set onto white cardstock

I then painted the flowers using the Colour Mica Powder in Polar, Royalty and Rose Petal to coordinate with the moodboard. Next I fussy cut the flowers to use on my page.

Here is my finished page. I used a picture I found on Pinterest to add to the focal point.

I've added some diecuts using the String leaves metal dies and sweet floral metal die and white cardstock.

You can see that I strategically placed the background stamping in the areas I intended to embellish.

I used a palate knife to add some Snow White Colour Paste to the center of each flower for sparkle.
