Sentimental Traveler - Art Journalling With Scrapping Clearly!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have an art journal page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm playing along with the August moodboard challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly store voucher. You have until August 31 and you need to upload your challenge here.

This page is created in my Black Square Dylusions Journal. I used a palate knife to swipe Platinum modelling paste, Art Anthology Reef Velvet dimensional paint, and Art Anthology Vegas Gold Sorbet dimensional paint through a stencil across the page. Then I added splatters of Heidi Swapp ColorShine in Tinsel, Gold and Navy.

I stamped the Dina Wakley Good Idea stamp set on white cardstock then painted using Prima Watercolor Confections Classics and Decadent Pies. These flowers were fussy cut to use on my page.

Here is a close up of my page. I've used the flowers as a feature for the page as well as adding some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers and white gauze.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cards - With Bee Arty!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have some cards to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty!

I created this set of cards using similar papers and techniques to the scrapbook page I created a few weeks ago. Whenever I create I like to make a number of projects with the same supplies. That is what I love about kit clubs - everything you need is in the kit and you don't get overwhelmed by all your other craft supplies.

For each of the cards I created a background on heavy duty 350gsm white cardstock.  I add some stenciling using Colour Mica Powders mixed with modelling paste and the Crab Art stencil. I'm using Cool Mint, Peach Nectar and Stormy weather Colour Mica Powders to coordinate with the Find Paradise Collection papers.

I matted the stencilled backgrounds on papers from the Find Paradise Collection. Then I added a selection of leaf and flower diecuts created using the Leaves of Paradise metal die set, Flower Power die set, white cardstock, and paper from the Find Paradise Collection. I painted a chipboard Happy birthday embellishment with Midnight/Peacock Colour Shimmer dust, then I added a paper clip, and some sparkly rhinestones.

For the third card I add some stenciling using Colour Mica Powders mixed with modelling paste and the Arches stencil. Once again I use Cool Mint, Peach Nectar and Stormy weather Colour Mica Powders to coordinate with the Find Paradise Collection papers.

I matted the stencilled background on papers from the Find Paradise Collection. Then I added a selection of leaf diecuts created using the Leaves of Paradise metal die set and white cardstock. I added words cut from the Relax word paper embellished with a paper clip and some sparkly rhinestones.

Find Inspiration - Art Journalling With Scrapping Clearly!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have an art journal page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

This page is created in my Black Square Dylusions Journal. I start by creating a Distress Oxide background using a painting with plastic technique. I use Wilted Violet and Broken China Distress Oxides. Distress Oxides show up so well on a black background - I love the effect.

Next I created custom texture pastes using a mix of Heidi Swapp ColorShine Teal and Amethyst mixed with whipped spackle. I added this through stencils across my page in places.

To finish my page I found this image on Pinterest and printed it out on photo paper. I matted it on some coloured book paper from my desk and added gauze, more torn book paper, and diecuts on the corners. I also added some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers, and I doodled around the edge of the page using a white Uniball Signo broad pigment ink pen. Here are some close-ups of my page.

Par-a-dise : Scrapbooking With Bee Arty!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty!

To start with I create a background on a sheet of heavy duty 350gsm white cardstock. I use Colour Mica Powders that I have mixed with Gum Arabic and stored in a pan paint storage tin for easy access. I created a watercolour look background using a painting with plastic technique as well as adding paint splatters. I'm using Cool Mint, Peach Nectar and Stormy weather Colour Mica Powders to coordinate with the Find Paradise Collection papers.

Next I add some stenciling using Cool Mint and Stormy weather Colour Mica Powders mixed with modelling paste and the Crab Art stencil.

I cut the white cardstock down to approx 11"x11" and mat it onto a sheet of Light Forest paper that I have cut a square out of the centre (I do this to conserve paper).

Here is my finished page. I love the soft muted colour tones of this paper range and the mica powders - so pretty!

I have matted the photo with more papers from the Find Paradise Collection.

I created a selection of leaf and flower diecuts using the Leaves of Paradise metal die set and Flower Power die set, using both white cardstock and paper from the Find Paradise Collection.

I added some paper flowers, art stones and words cut from the Relax word paper.

A pineapple paper clip is a fun addition to the page.

I started by creating a watercolour background on white cardstock using Prima Watercolor Confections - Decadent Pies. I used a painting with plastic technique then added additional splatters using colours that coordinated with the Moodboard.

Next I added some texture using a variety of stencils (TCW mini specimens and TCW mini tiles) and using Platinum modelling paste, Bo Bunny Silver glitter paste, Art Anthology Reef Velvet dimensional paint, and Art Anthology Vegas Gold Sorbet dimensional paint

Here is a close up of the stencilling - isnt it so cool!

Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo and along the top of the page I added papers and ephemera tags from the Teresa Collins Urban Market collection.

I also added chipboard elements, stickers, and enamel dots from the Teresa Collins Urban Market collection.

Studio Calico heart and arrow wood veneer and white gauze completed the page.
