I used a stencil (KaiserCraft) and some mists (Heidi Swapp ColorShine) to decorate the white cardstock. Then I trimmed it down, punched along part of 2 sides then attached to a piece of patterned paper.
To join in the celebrations I've made a scrapbook page (including a process video) of one of our favourite beach locations. I've included a photo of the beach itself - a special piece of untouched heaven!
I started this page by creating my background with my watercolor pan paints - using a combination of blues and yellow! I've then layered strips of paper from the ColorWays Sapphire paper pack, there are some amazing patterns in this range - and dont forget to save and use the small strips of paper at the bottom of the page with the barcode!
I've used lots of items from the Colorways sapphire accent pack - these coordinate perfect and go perfectly with the monochromatic look I wanted to achieve.
I've also used some of the stickers from the Believe Puffy stickers pack - puffy stickers are my favs! for my title.
Finally I added some flair I made using paper from the pack, some wood veneer from my stash, the date with a roller date stamp, and some handwritten journalling. I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600.
Today is National Scrapbook Day and to celebrateScrappy Canary is having a cybercrop (see here). There are challenges, games and prizes ... Woohoo!!!
My Challenge is to create a scrapbook page where you have made your own background using paints, gelatos mists, sprays etc.
I've had fun creating a gorgeous page featuring Jessica when she first went in a ski-boat and knee-boarding. I've also made a video. This is my first video so please be nice :)
I've used lots of goodies from the Scrappy Canary store, mainly the March Scrapbook Kit - Playful (sold out).
I made the background using paints, gelatos and stencils. I then cut rectangles of the different patterned paper for underneath my photos. This diecut photo frame was a perfect embellishment. I made my own flair using the patterned paper in the kit.
I used a label from the PL kit and the flair and wooden button are simple yet stylish embellishments.
I just love these gold alphas - very on trend :)
I print all my photos on my Epson XP-600.
