Birthday Cards pt2 - With Bee Arty!

Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have 6 birthday cards to share with you made using the new Wild At Heart Collection available from Bee Arty.

 

 

I cut 6 pieces of 9cmx13.2cm 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. Then I stamped around/on the edge of each using the Wild Leopard stamp set and the 1928 Fragment and Text stamp set and Black Archival ink. These form the mats on the cards.

 

 

 

I wanted to add colour to the stamped backgrounds so I mixed a Velvet Colour Shimmer Dust with Mocha Colour Spray to give a dusty pink shade to match the Wild at Heart papers. The pic below shows on the RHS Velvet only and LHS Velvet+Mocha.

 

I added a colour wash (using a wide paintbrush and plenty of water) of Velvet+Mocha to 3 of the stamped backgrounds (in different intensities) and Mocha to the other 3.

 

I made 6 card bases measuring a finished size of 14.5cmx10.5cm using 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I added a colour wash of Velvet+Mocha to the front of 3 of the cards (in different intensities) and Mocha to 3 of them.

 

Then I used the Lost Symbol A6 stencil and some of the colour wash applied with a sponge on the card fronts (just around the edges).

 

Below you can see the stamped card on the left and the stenciled card front on the right for each of the 3 Velvet+Mocha cards, for a lighter colour I added more water to the wash.

 

Below you can see the stamped cards and the stenciled card fronts for the 3 Mocha cards.

 

 

 I matted the stamped card onto the stenciled card front, then added a card cut from the Expedition Paper. I also added fussy cuts from the Roar Paper, as well as flowers from my stash. I stamped "Happy birthday" from the Embrace Change Collection onto White Cardstock and added to the card.

Birthday Cards - With Bee Arty!

Today I have 2 birthday cards to share with you made using the new Wild At Heart Collection available from Bee Arty.

 

 

Card bases both measure 14.5cmx10.5cm using 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. For the first card I matted a 14.3cmx10cm piece cut from Tropical Paper (reverse). Then using a purple/burgundy paper (from the kit) I diecut using the 1929 Art Deco metal die. I added fussy cuts from the Roar Paper, as well as left over sequins and gold thread from the kit. I stamped "Happy birthday" from the Embrace Change Collection onto White Cardstock and added to the card.

 

The second card was created in a similar way but this time I used white cardstock for the diecut against a burgundy background.

Birthday Cards - With Bee Arty!

Today I have 3 birthday cards to share with you made using the Fun in the Sun Collection available from Bee Arty.

 

 

For the first 2 cards I created card bases measuring 14.5cmx10.5cm using 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I also cut 2 pieces of 13cmx9cm 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock to create a painted background using Pink Ice Colour Shimmer Dust and and Jungle Mica powder (using a painting with plastic technique). 

 

I then matted the painted backgrounds on papers from the Fun in the Sun paper collection pack, fussy cut elements and diecuts.

 

For the 3rd card I created a card base measuring 14cmx14cm using 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I then matted with papers from the Fun in the Sun paper collection pack, fussy cut elements and diecuts.

Happy 15th Birthday - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card created with lots of fun products from Bee Arty. This card was created for my daughters recent 15th birthday. She loves swimming and the water so the Saltwater collection was perfect to use.

 

I created the card base from a 12"x12" page of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I cut it down to 28cmx14cm and folded in half to give a 14cm square card. 

The background paper is a 13.5cm square and 13cm square cut from Saltwater paper pack. 

 The chipboard "15" is coloured with Midnight Colour Shimmer Dust (mixed with water). 

I've fussy cut black and white images from the Saltwater paper pack. 

I've added diecuts created with Aussie Leaves metal die set and 250gsm Heavy White Cardstock and silver net mirror board. 

Other embellishments were from my stash.

HB2U - With Bee Arty!

Today I have 2 birthday cards to share with you made using a variety of products from Bee Arty. 

 

I created this layout for a video on the Colour Blast be Bee Arty facebook page (watch here) and thought I would show some close-up pics and links in a blog post.

 

I used black and white cardstock, 

paper from the Fearless, Brave and Free collection, 

the Web metal die,  

365 Alphas metal dies,  

Flowers metal dies, 

and Lollipop and Cobalt colour shimmer dusts.

Happy 13th Birthday - With Scrapping Clearly!

  Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a card that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly. The card was for my daughters 13th birthday - she is growing up too fast!

 

 

To create the background I used heavy weight white cardstock and painted Prima watercolour confections Pastel Dreams (browns and pinks with highlights of yellow) across the card. When this had dried I added splatters of each colour. 

 

Then I added sparkly stencilling using an Aall and Create stencil and Bo Bunny Rose Gold Glitter Paste.

 

I matted the card background on some pink paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Daydream collection 6x8 paper pack then mounted this on a 14cm x 14cm card base. Lastly I found some chipboard and white gauze that I painted with the Prima watercolour confections Pastel Dreams to coordinate.   

Here is the finished card.

Cards - With Scrapping Clearly!

Hi Lovelies!!

Today I have some cards to share with you made using various products available in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

I'm also playing along with the December Moodboard Challenge. We would love for you to join the challenge and be in the running to win a Scrapping Clearly voucher. You have until December 31 and you enter by uploading your photo to the album in the facebook group here.

I used the colours and textures in this moodboard as inspiration for my cards.

I've used white cardstock to create my card bases and cut 2 backgrounds for the bases measuring 13cmx13cm. On these backgrounds I've painted with DMW paint colours (black, marine, elephant and ancient). Once this was dry I added splatters of each colour as well.

For my first card I matted the background on a Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack "Zodiac" (reverse).

I then added some tags and flags cut from the Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack 6"x6" paper pad.

I added some diecuts, burlap offcuts, and a birthday sentiment.  Lastly I added a Finnibair rustic knob.

For the next card I matted the background on a Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack "Woodland".

I then added some strips and flags cut from the Heidi Swapp Wolf Pack 6"x6" paper pad.
