Beauty - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the Botanicals Collection available from Bee Arty.

This page was inspired by the July mood board and sketch challenge. I loved this sketch - but I'm a bit late with the challenge :)

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. First I sewed a square in the middle of the page using my sewing machine and black thread. Then I painted a wash of Wine Colour Shimmer Dust. I splattered water onto the page (with my fingers) then dabbed with a paper towel - this removes colour and gives a watercolour look. When this was dry I added splatters of Wine and Midnight Colour Shimmer Dust

I added stamping using a black inkpad and the Untamed Stamp Set from Botanicals.
I added stencilling using texture paste applied through the Stems stencil from Botanicals collection.

Here is my completed page, along with a beautiful photo of Jessica riding Tommy :)

Fussy cut elements are from the Blooms paper in the Botanicals paper collection pack. The words are from Hello My Love paper. I have punched out the "Beauty" circle from the top right of the Hello My Love paper and used my button maker to create a flair. Flowers, gold thread, hessian and gauze from my stash were perfect additions to the embellishment clusters.

I used some 250gsm Heavy White Cardstock and the Flower Stems metal die set to create some diecuts for my embellishment clusters.

Botanicals has soft floral vibes with versatile elements, and is designed by the talented Amy Evans. You will love this collection - the stamps, stencils and dies are not to be missed! You can subscribe to the kit here. Kits come with a paper pack, stencils, metal dies, stamp sets, embellishments and full colour kit instructions.

Delightful - With Bee Arty!

  Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the Botanicals Collection available from Bee Arty.

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock using Pink Ice Colour Shimmer Dust and Bling and Jungle Mica powder (using a painting with plastic technique). Then I added splatters of each of these colours.

I added stamping using green and pink inkpads and the Untamed Stamp Set from Botanicals.
I mixed some Pink Ice Colour Shimmer Dust with texture paste and applied through the Moondust stencil (from the Moon Shadows Collection)

Here is my completed page, along with a beautiful photo of my 2 gorgeous girls :)

I matted my photo on some Delicate paper, and also added the barcode strip and an offcut along the bottom of the page. Fussy cut elements are from the Blooms paper in the Botanicals paper collection pack. The "Flowers Grow Together" card is from Hello My Love paper. I have also punched out the Delightful and Violet flower circles from the top right of the Hello My Love paper and used my button maker to create two flairs. Gold thread from my stash was also a perfect addition.

I used some 250gsm Heavy White Cardstock and the Grungy Viewmaster metal die to create some diecuts for my embellishment clusters. The punchinella was leftover from the kit.

Summer Time - With Bee Arty!

Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the Fun in the Sun Collection available from Bee Arty.

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock
I mixed Chilli Mica powder with Heavy White Gesso then applied it with a sponge through the Tropical Fun Stencil from the Fun in the Sun Collection
I used back ink and the Recipe Script stamp (from the Raspberry Fizz Collection) across the page.   Then I added splatters of Navy and Peacock Colour Shimmer Dust and Chilli Mica powder.

Here is my finished page along with a gorgeous photo of my girls in Hawaii.

I've added papers and fussy cut elements from the Fun in the Sun paper collection pack. Lastly I used a fine black paint pen to hand draw a border and add journalling.
