Steam Trains!

A family day for us recently was to go to the SteamFest where we could look at and ride on a steam engine.  It was a great day out and we also found a nice coffee shop with some yummy desserts! I had to take many photos (of course!) and save the tickets for SMASH*ing.

I've used one of the "Dancing in the Garden" digis from Angie Delarie. I've also used one of Angie's Vintage love camera digis.

Wedding Cards - part 2!

I was having so much fun with the current Scrapbook Boutique Blog Challenge mentioned in my last post that I just had to create another card. I've had to separate my blog post so I could enter both cards in the challenge - sorry if it caused any confusion.

 

Wedding Cards!

I've been wanting to join in some of the Scrapbook Boutique Blog Challenges for a while, but you know how it goes ... never enough time in the day! Well this month their Challenge was a photo inspiration challenge. As soon as I saw the photo I immediately thought Wedding, so I made some wedding cards. I usually like to put images on my cards but this time I made the sentiment the highlight - what do you think?

Time to get scrapbooking!

I do love to scrapbook but I havent done much lately because I find it takes me longer than making a card. I know that is no excuse but I think it is selecting the photos that seems to take me ages. I need to get more organised and get a few selections of photos that are ready to go. The current challenge over at Scrapbook Boutique at the moment is a colour challenge with an inspiration photo - so I decided to get back on the scrapbooking horse and give it a go. This is a SB layout of my youngest daughter at 7 weeks - such cute little toes! Hmmmm now I have a look at the layout and I realise I have forgotten the journalling ... the most important part!!!

Buttons Challenge # 2

This is another entry to the Scrapbook Boutique Blog "Buttons" challenge. This time I have tried to make something more masculine. Quite bright and cute I think!

 

Buttons Challenge # 1

The challenge over at the Scrapbook Boutique Blog is a buttons challenge (at least 3). I love buttons, in fact I seem to be a buttons hoarder (sometimes it seems that they are too pretty to use!!). So I came up with these simple yet effective cards that use lots of buttons. I love the idea of a flower pot on a card. I've then made some scallop flower roses and put a button in the middle of each.  No stamping on this card (except the sentiment) - a bit different to my usual style!
