TPS Spinks and Spooks Collection Previews - Day 7

Welcome to day 7 of the previews of the Spinks and Spooks Collection coming to Tickled Pink Stamps on 15th August!

Today we introduce “Lil Haunt 2 Vampire Lestat”!

I really like to Scrap when I have the opportunity. Often I find I need to be very organised and push myself to do it because it takes longer than making a card (dealing with photos and a much larger canvas).
As soon as I saw Vampire Lestat I knew I had the perfect photos to scrap with him!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and for all your lovely comments, I love reading them.

TPS Spinks and Spooks Collection Previews - Day 5

Welcome to day 5 of the previews of the Spinks and Spooks Collection coming to Tickled Pink Stamps on 15th August!

Today we introduce “Lil Haunt 2 Mummie Christina”!

I love making vintage themed cards and as soon as I saw this image I knew I could add my vintage touch. I found some gorgeous “The magic of Oz” (by Graphic 45) paper at my local Scrapping store – what a hit for Halloween! I cut this section from one of the corners then I couldn’t bear to hide the cute little goblins - so I’ve used some transparent embellishments. I've also used some sheer black tulle scrunched in a bow shape (sorry a bit hard to see in the photo) and love the soft effect it gives. I really love how this worked out!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and for all your lovely comments, I love reading them.

TPS Spinks and Spooks Collection Previews - Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of the previews of the Spinks and Spooks Collection coming to Tickled Pink Stamps on 15th August!
Today we introduce “Lil Haunt 2 Wizard Eric”!

Wowee, I was sooo excited when Kellie offered me a TPS Guest DT Spot for August. I’ve been a TPS fan ever since the Lil Lolita’s were first released  and I have nearly all of the “Lil” stamps or digis in my way too large crafty collection.

When I first heard that this release had a Halloween theme I had mixed feelings. Mainly because Halloween is not really celebrated much here in Australia – and cards are definitely not given. So I haven’t made Halloween cards before and I did not have anything Halloweeny in my stash. This gave me a great excuse to make a bee line to my local scrapping store (there was no time to order anything via the internet). But when I got there they didn’t have much in their Halloween range “We will get stocks in September” they said! But I did find some fun Tim Holtz embossing folders and some Graphic 45 papers that I will show in another post. When I got home I had a closer look through my stash and found some Magnolia Halloween paper and a skull and crossbone charm that also suited the brief!

I love colouring in black and white only (or shades of grey) which really suits this release and because I wanted to be able to use this card as a birthday card I decided to add some colour – purple and orange of course!

I have had so much fun with these spooky new images and I really love how this card turned out.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and for all your lovely comments, I love reading them.
