Tea Bag Art - With Bee Arty!

  Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have some Tea-Bag Art to share with you made using lots of fun new products from the Raspberry Fizz Collection available from Bee Arty.

For many years now, while on retreat, a few lovely friends and I create and share Tea-Bag Art. These are fun projects to share and I love the small canvas to create on. I start by emptying 3 unused teabags of their tea leaves (you could use used tea bags if you prefer). Then I paint both sides of the bags and tea tags with heavy white gesso (2 coats).

Paint both sides of the bags and tea tags with Sunshine Mica powder mixed with water.

Mix Blush Mica powder with heavy white gesso then apply to the tea bags and tea tags through the Fizzy Days Stencil from the Raspberry Fizz Collection.

Add some stamping using Black Archival ink and the Recipe Script stamp from the Raspberry Fizz Collection.

The base of the tea bags and tea tags is complete. Embellish with some diecuts, fussy cuts and words. The diecuts are created from yellow glitter cardstock and 250gsm White Cardstock and the Speckled Peony Metal die set. The fussy cuts are from the Raspberry Fizz Paper collection pack. The words are from the "Always" Black on White cut apart sheet.

Here are the finished Tea Bags :)

Crazy Love - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a Scrapbook Page to share with you made using lots of fun arty products available from Bee Arty.

I was inspired by the January Mood Board and Sketch challenge.

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I used a fine black Life of Colour paint pen to draw a series of large circles in the middle of the page. Then I painted circles of Fern, Tan and Navy Colour Shimmer Dust (colours inspired by Mood Board and circles inspired by the sketch). Then I added splatters of each of these colours. Once dry I added coordinating coloured sequins as well as wood veneer. The flowers were cut from the Rustic Blossom Paper collection pack and painted with Navy Colour Shimmer Dust. I painted some resin flowers with Navy Colour Shimmer Dust mixed with heavy white gesso. The photo is matted on Crackled paper.

Moodboard Art Journalling - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have an art journal page to share with you made using lots of fun arty products available from Bee Arty

I'm playing along with the February mood board and sketch challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Bee Arty online voucher. You have until February 28th and you need to upload your challenge here (please follow challenge rules).

I was immediately inspired by the moodboard picture and colours and I knew I could quickly re-create it with some of the Bee Arty dies I had.
I created this page in a 6x6 kraft journal. I started by swiping heavy white gesso across the page.
I added stamping using the Find Your Way stamp and Grey Archival ink.
I painted the diecuts with Lovely Lilac, Blush and Steel Mica powders
I added some words from the Bee The Sunshine paper collection pack
Lastly I outlined the page using a fine black Life of Colour paint pen.

No Worries - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Crafty Lovelies!

Today I have a Scrapbook Page to share with you made using the Aussie Bushland collection available from Bee Arty.

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I sprinked Fern Colour Shimmer Dust on my page using a fan brush then I lightly sprayed with water. It is so cool that a single shimmer dust contains all these different colour pigments.

I mixed some Fern Colour Shimmer Dust with modelling paste and applied through parts of the Aussie Map A4 Stencil from the Aussie Bushland collection.

I added stamping using black ink and the Wildlife Stamp set from the Aussie Bushland collection.

Here is my completed page.

I added a photo mat and strip along the bottom of the page from the Aussie Bushland Paper collection Pack. Fussy cut embellishments and sentiments also came from this paper pack.  I used the Aussie leaves metal die set and Aussie Flowers metal die set from the Aussie Bushland collection  with White and Brown Cardstock.

Christmas 2022 - With Bee Arty!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a Christmas Album to share with you made using lots of fabulous arty products from Bee Arty.

This year I really wanted to create an album celebrating Christmas. I wanted to do a pocket page scrapbook album and I wanted to complete it in a timely manner. December is always so busy and I really wanted to be able to spend 30mins crafting a day. It didn't quite turn out that way, but I did finish it by 5th January (winning!).

To make it achievable I chose a smaller album - this is approx 8" x10". I took 1 photo a day using my Instax camera (instant photo printing). And lastly, I limited my craft supplies!

I used 2 mini paper collections released by Bee Arty in 2021 Home For Christmas and Nutcracker Sweet. Each collection is 5 pages (double sided) with 2 pages used for tags/fussy cutting and the rest for the pocket pages. I used the Numbers die set from the Fireworks collection, Aussie leaves metal die set and Aussie Flowers metal die set from the Aussie Bushland collection. Also the Wildlife Stamp set. For painty colours I used Colour Shimmer Dust (Fern, Tan, Wine, Midnight and Candy) and Colour Mica Powder in Emerald. I used White, Black, Silver and Kraft Cardstock.

I finished my pages with gauze, hessian, tags, envelopes, black paint pens and a black archival inkpad

Here are some pics of the pages.
