Graduation - With Scrapping Clearly!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a scrapbook page that I created using  the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection available at Scrapping Clearly!

I started by creating a watercolour background on white cardstock using Prima Watercolor Confections. I used a painting with plastic technique then added additional splatters of each colour.

Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo I have layered a number of papers from the Heidi Swapp Color Fresh collection - these designs are so pretty.

In the bottom right corner of the photo I have added an embellishment cluster that includes a paper foilie, die cuts, paper flowers and chipboard stickers from Vicki Boutin Wildflower & Honey collection.

In the top left corner of the photo I have added a similar embellishment cluster.

Along the left edge of the page I have added more strips of paper from the collection and a card cut from one of the pages - perfect for journaling on!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

She Is Drama - Art Journalling With Scrapping Clearly!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have an art journal page that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

This page is created in my Black Square Dylusions Journal. I start by creating a Distress Oxide background using a painting with plastic technique. I use Wilted Violet and Broken China Distress Oxides. Distress Oxides show up so well on a black background - I love the effect.

Next I created custom texture pastes using a mix of Heidi Swapp ColorShine Teal and Amethyst mixed with whipped spackle. I added this through a stencil as a feature on my page.

To finish my page I found this image on Pinterest and printed it out on photo paper. I added coloured gauze and white diecuts on two corners of the photo. I also added some Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers and a Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic Buzz Word.

Here are some close-ups of my page.

Acetate Tag - With Bee Arty!

Hi Lovelies!

Today I have a tag to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty!

I created this tag as part of last weekend's Great Australian Craft Show and you can see a video here

I've created the tag using some plain acetate/transparency and the new Fearless Brave Free Collection designed by Fiona Paltridge.

My tag is 8cm wide by 16cm long. I stamped along the left edge and bottom of the tag using Stazon and the Fearless stamp. Then I applied Deep Water Colour Paste through the Directions stencil also along the left and bottom of the tag.

I added some ribbons to the top of the tag and an embellishment cluster along the bottom. The cluster included papers from the Fearless Brave Free paper collection, Black die cuts from the Abstract circles metal dies, white gauze and a flair.

Junk Journal Part 2- With Scrapping Clearly!

  Hi Lovelies!

Today I have part 2 of a junk journal project that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I'm using a Scrap FX junk journal kit LACE . I used my 8"x10" gel press and a variety of DWM acrylic paints and Dylusions paints to create backgrounds on the pages of this kit before I stitched them together.

Here are more pages of the journal.  Element clusters have been added along with splatters of DWM gloss sprays, stamping, and Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers. I also used some old bottle caps to stamp in gold paint on the pages.

This element is cut from a sheet of Scrap FX funky Folk Snarky cardstock

I'm half way through this journal and want to do something different with the rest of the pages. When I have finished I will show you more.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Junk Journal Part 1- With Scrapping Clearly!

 Hi Lovelies!

Today I have part 1 of a junk journal project that I created using lots of fun products available at Scrapping Clearly!

I've started with a Scrap FX junk journal kit LACE . These are the pages in the kit - there are die cut pages, book pages, map pages, acetate etc.

I used my 8"x10" gel press and a variety of DWM acrylic paints and Dylusions paints to create backgrounds on the pages. Using a gel plate is quite messy so I don't have any photos of this process.

These are all the gel printed pages (2 sides) before I sew them together.

I also printed on some extra white cardstock so I would have plenty to cut apart and use as embellishments on my pages. Look at all these pretty backgrounds!

I cut a number of tags, strips, and other shapes then used my sewing machine to stitch together for added texture and interest.

I also stamped some images on book paper and cut out more shapes to use on my pages.

I followed the instructions in the kit to stitch the pages together.

Here is the front page of my junk journal. I added some of the cut elements, splatters of gold paint, stamping, and Tim Holtz Idea-ol-ogy Small Talk Word Stickers. I also used some old bottle caps to stamp in gold paint on the page in places.

Here is the first 2 pages of the journal. More element clusters have been added along with splatters of DWM lime gloss spray, stamping, and word stickers.

Here are some close ups of the pages. I love these gloss sprays for splattering!

Here are the next 2 pages in the journal - created using similar elements and techniques to visually tie the pages of the journal together.

Next week I will show more pages in this journal.
